As for your question about covenant friendship with Jessica Koulianous, I think it’s a similar idea to the covenant friendship between David and Jonathan in the Bible, where they loved each other more than anyone else and vowed to take care of each other / their families.

As a member of the younger generation, I used to watch Jesus Image services every Sunday morning and evening. However, I was turned off from them after Michael and his wife, Jessica Koulianos kept inviting Benny Hinn to their services. By then, I knew that Benny Hinn was a false prophet. I decided to stop watching those Sunday morning and afternoon services. These days, I limit the amount of time I watch their services, but I love their worship music from their choir. It is excellent. Nowadays, I only listen to sermons from pastors that are Biblically sound. I stay away from false teachers like Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Todd White, Steven Furtick, and the like. It is a shame that these vipers want to poison our minds with false doctrines. As young people, we must discern the spirits like the Bible said. It is a must. Especially in these Last Days. Put God, first, always.

Music is NOT “worship”. Obedience and dying to the demands of the flesh - seeking to do God’s will each day is worship. Music is noise , and can be part of a worship service , but does not embody worship.

It is time to expose what has happened to the church in many regards but certainly the praise and worship industry. Just listen to that phrase “ praise and worship INDUSTRY” !

I have named the phenomenon that is happening as the “Bethelization” of the church. Social media and the Worship Music Industry have raised Bethel, Elevation, Hillsong, etc. and their Worship Leaders to celebrity status. Then smaller churches are lured into the temptation to emulate them. In order to do so, that small church must grow into a medium or large church in order to attract the better musicians and pay for all the fancy lights, smoke machines, video projectors and sound systems to emulate and recreate the sound of their “heroes.” They have to hire staff: worship leaders, technical directors, scene designers, etc. to support what they’ve become. The congregation becomes diluted with many weak or non-believers and the pastor must adapt his sermons to cater to his new demographic so as not to risk losing anyone. The end result is the church is unable to properly disciple the existing and new believers and has to deal with a whole bunch of people that are not seriously following the Lord, but are just there for the music or the other big church amenities (cool youth programs, coffee shops, multiple campuses, and on and on.)

Your generation needs to move away from this artsy fartsy ethos. Breath work? Where is that in the Bible? I agree with some of your points about stage worship, but you seem to be putting on an act of who you want us to see. This whole video is strangely done. Walking like Yeshua did is what we should be pursuing. You seem to think you are doing your worship differently. But in reality Worship is loving obedience and service all day long every day.

My son questions Christian lyrics too which you should do so you won’t be lead wrong. I use to pray on my knees when I was younger and smaller but I’m older and bigger and can’t get on my knees. It hurts my knees too bad. I wish I could kneel. I did feel closer to God that way.

You need to fast pray and ask God to expose those who are in error and what is pleasing to him. This was so refreshing after what I’ve been watching the past few weeks 🙏 I am an Australian who pretty much cut myself off from the mainstream world 15 years ago. I have always had faith in God but more recently have come back to Christianity and putting my faith in and learning the truth from Jesus. In the past three or so months I have had my eyes opened to what has been going on in the American churches and how much this has infiltrated Australia. I know people who have been sucked up into it, thinking that these performances are what worship and fellowship is. I have gone down a few rabbit holes and I’m horrified at what I’m seeing, and at what people are saying in the name of God. It’s left a bad taste in my mouth. Listening to you and your wife, with your deep insight into the hypocrisy that’s at the heart of these mega churches, I was so grateful to be able lift my head out of that swamp and feel lightened by God’s Word. I really thank God for the pandemic. Kind of strange but I know that because we didn't have routine church services, myself and probably many others really started reading and studying our Bibles again. And because of that the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to all the false teaching I had been reading and listening to in the NAR/ WOF( New Apostolic Reformation/Word of Faith) movements. I praise God I am delivered. 30 years I was deceived by those Wolves. God bless you and thank you for speaking truth.

At first I was super weirded-out by the way you were speaking, but once the owl talk started, you became more animated. I have a lot of thoughts about this video, but I'll just keep it to one for the hope that we don't end up with a TLDR here. Steffany Gretzinger is not a good example. She is a hyper-emotionalist and heretic that believes we must literally consume Jesus' flesh by taking the Eucharist. It's Catholic doctrine, basically, and is becoming even more popular through the work of heretics like Gretzinger and Francis Chan. Okay, one last thing: Ellie Holcomb's breathing exercise was bizarre. That's plain eastern mysticism, so I don't know what's up with that.

Very, very good message and VERY thought provoking. What comes to my heart and mind is "what is worship?" Is worship only songs and music? Can it be who we are blessing our Heavenly Father with the "gifts" he created us with. Not everyone has the gift of music or singing. Praise and worship is telling our Heavenly Father how much we love Him and how great He is. Is worship only words? or can worship be actions too? The movie Chariots of Fire the runner said "God created me to run and run fast, he takes pleasure in my running". That was this young man's "worship" to Heavenly Father. Do we give praise and worship when we take the gifts He has given us and created us with and use it to bless others. Speaking through our gifts of the Love of God so rich and pure. Some have a gift of being amazing moms and dads to children, loving them as a praise to our heavenly parent - Father God. Some people paint or sew or create and doing this and giving to others with that gift can be worship and praise to Heavenly Father of His creativity and gift giving He gave when He gave us His Son as a living sacrifice for our salvation. Praise to me is not just singing words but action too. We need to get back to the simplicity of the gospel. Go back to the simple songs that were created as praise. "I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses...He walks with me and talks with me and tells me I am His own."

Go to the Divine Liturgy at an Orthodox Church and you will see what worship is.. its the same as it was in the early church.. and its absolutely free and you will not be asked for money.. you wont even be talked to unless you want to be at coffee hour afterwards because everyone is focused on worship during the Liturgy... its not about you or them or the Priest its all about God.. the worship you seek goes on every week in every orthodox church in the world.. in some churches several times a week and in monestaries every day!! As it says in the Scriptures: COME AND SEE!

The followers of these false prophets just follow everyone who sells the same fraud. If anyone associates with these grifters they need to be avoided as well.

Always look for fruit of the Spirit and not the "gifts" of the Spirit. These men and those who promote them are wolves. Mark and avoid them. The use of emotionally stirring music and a polluted gospel are what appeals to many. This is not spiritual but is emotional. Many don't know the difference because all too many have never experienced the true convicting Spirit of God. Every supposed "prophesy" shared by these hucksters affirms people as they are and does not call to repentance like the prophecies of the prophets of the Bible. Time to wake up and flee these men who are tickling the ears of their listeners. Flee from those who draw attention to men or themselves. Lift up Christ alone!
