    I just bought the agave green soft cooler size 20. Using for day stuff not where I can’t access more ice etc. I might get one of these to keep in the back of my truck with less need for maintaining and adding ice. Also bought the duffle 100 bc I need a lot of waterproof space for truck bed occasionally.

    I know this video is old, but I just busted out my exact same sander that I haven’t used in several years to try to give it another shot. I used it for a year or two before replacing it with a grizzly 72 inch knife sander. I’m just a hobbyist and use the sander three or four times a week, so I would not call myself an expert. When I bought the jet, I bought it for the quality name, but was immediately disappointed. The biggest problem for me is adjusting the tracking on the belt portion. You have to use, an Allen wrench and a set screw to keep it in place. It’s a multi step process to adjust the freaking tracking, which should be a simple procedure as it is on the grizzly. The motor bogs down and the tension on the belt portion is not enough, because the spring is too weak for the unit. Jet should be embarrassed to sell this under their brand name.

    Nice video,just a few comments about Big Tex,about 3-1/2 years ago I purchased a 10 DM car hauler from Big Tex, a beautiful steel deck 22’ with dovetail.They delivered the trailer from the factory in Mt. Pleasant Texas to Lufkin Texas which is about halfway to my home south of Houston. Met the driver there and picked up the trailer and was very happy.Within several months that changed ,on both fenders the paint started peeling,after many calls to the salesman and service department they told me to bring it back to Mt.Pleasant,thats a 500 mile trip from home I would have to make,so instead of taking the fenders to the Houston Big Tex ,they wouldn’t go for it.Ended up painting them myself.Several months ago I lost a ramp due to the cheesy design on the ramp storage,another month and a half before they shipped a new one,which was $150,so needless to say I wont be buying anything or recommending themto anyone Thanks jg

    • @JDOffline
      @JDOffline Před 4 dny

      Thanks for sharing these experiences. I have owned many brands of trailers over the years and have yet to find one where the paint holds up very well. I imagine there are some more expensive trailers out there with better quality paint. That said, I have never had a functionality issue with the Big Tex trailers and I currently own two of them. I was just talking about pressure washing my trailers and painting them again to refresh them which is what I think most people end up doing. You made an overall good purchase with the one you bought! JD

    Can’t wait for my Roadie 15 to arrive on Thursday! It’s replacing a Cabela’s Coldsnap 9-can that lasted 8-9 months of every work day use. The latch is this close 🤏 to not functioning at all. The Roadie will be a little bigger, lots heavier, and lifetime durable. The shoulder strap was the biggest dealbreaker because I have a broken foot and can’t carry a lunch box on my knee scooter or up/down stairs without a shoulder strap. Killed all the other possibilities for a premium hard lunch box. I have lots of other Yeti products so I’m sure it’s well worth it. ❄️

      I’ve owned RTIC and you definitely notice a quality difference. When you buy YETI, you know you aren’t trying to save money.

      @@rossrobichaux9425 No. I didn’t say water bottles. Just taller (think hard seltzer) cans. You can fit the water bottles, though on the side not occupied by the basket.
