in 53, i've loved the Pistons my whole life, i jumped on when we drafted Isiah(i was 8). This season was one of the most depressing(similar to the BLake, Seiko short era), Poor record wasn't the worst thing.The worst was wasting the development time for the young players, and Weaver's asset management. FIRE MONTY!!!!! He doesn't seem to know how to attack this development project, He's always had problems with certain players on his teams (i think he has a 'mean-mom' energy which is tied to his personal power rather than team success) He doesn't have the personality to coach/exist in the 313. He's soft and slow. Hopefully the NBA can dig up some dirt on Gores so they can force him to sell the team. Detroit basketball has always been better than this, the fans deserve better. CADE deserves better.

Cade Cunningham is better than Anthony Edwards so far. Great mid range shooter, and 3 points is getting better. Detroit defense

It's obvious Monty hit a lick and only took the job for the money. And I don't blame him. That being said, you can't have a coach that doesn't truly want to be there. I believe Langdon is smart enough to understand this.

I don’t think they’re gonna fire Monty. Not yet at least. They just laid the guy half a billion dollars ya know! Who knows though. Just a hunch don’t think will happen this season.

Growing up during the 80s and seeing the pistons almost take it in 88 there was a sense you seen it coming like they will be back and they came back and won back to back then 14 years later after they beat detroit im bartending telling cats then they gonna knock the lakers off in five maybe a sweep and if it werent for the late game heroics in game 2 they would have. But they was like how did i know i said well there is something about detroit and la styles makes fights and la always been showtime and Detroit always been rough house and they gonna stifle the Lakers and they did just that

All this build around CADE is never going to work, no one want to play in Detroit, and no want to play for Monty William based on league polls. You have two huge issues to get around before you can even consider building around CADE. They need to build a team first that plays well together, and hope CADE fit in with that team. You can not count on him even being healthy to build around. Wait until he show he healthy, and a elite player befor you build around him.

Just so im on record Cade will be an all NBA player in his prime. His biggest issue has been his health. He had a horrible start last year...he said he was not in BB shape that he didnt have his legs coming off his injuries, i believe him....he was much much better 2nd half however Detroit started that b.s. tank so they could secure the 5th pick instead of playing their young guys as much as possible down the stretch. They have clowns running the team luckily Weaver is out. Cade does not have the supporting cast that Minnesota has. That team is loaded yet was considered a failure just last year. A year can change a lot. Dallas too was awful last year. So yes I believe Cade will take another step next year. Hes gotten better every year he just needs to stay healthy.

Man, I hate to say this, but we have to stop to be a little bias with Cade... The next year come the bag, and he only play 46 games/season (138 games in 3 years) and he is the 5th in turnovers in all the League...(in the top 10 in turnovers, just 2 PG...he and Scoot Henderson)...its bad. Hope he improve that next season.

Ant Edwards is 22 . Its not necessary levels. It's only experience. When luka was 22 he was getting stomped out the playoffs aswell

Here’s the concerning part. If you go back to his college playing days this was the same exact thing they said while playing in college. He’ll have greater talent around him once he makes it to the nba. So I guess the question is this Piston’s team as bad as his college team?
