Kuz isn't efficient, but I'll take him and Deni for our pick. Then sign Tobi, it gives us depth if we keep our core including Stew. Get a backup C and PG put Sasser/Grimes at the 2. Kuz or Tobi a 6th man. Stew a 4/5 off the bench.

Kuzma is a good player, but i say just try to sign Miles Bridges, instead of trading player right now. See who fits and who can play well off the bench before giving up on all these young players.

I was just on Tankathon and simmed the draft lottery 5 times. The Pistons landed 3,5,5,5,2. I am not hopeful whatsoever about our odds this year.

I think the issue is Piston fans not understanding the draft lottery odds. What exactly are you sick about? Detroit is not getting the 1st pick they're more than likely getting pick 5 that's what the odds say which completely bore out in your own results.
So stop looking at the top of the draft players (like Sarr) and start being realistic and looking at players projected to go around the 5th pk because we have a 52% chance of landing there.
It's complete b.s. but it's what is the most likely outcome.
Here let me help, go watch film on Reed Shepard the guys shooting splits are elite, elite, he has other qualities that you wouldn't expect from a 6'3" white guard like steals..would be perfect fit next to Cade.
@@florida1289 I understand all that, but having to miss out on guys like Paolo, Chet, Wemby, Smith, Miller, Murray and so many more guys who would have fitted this roster PERFECTLY makes it way worse.
So instead we’re left with having to draft the best available talent at that time. Even if it may not make sense for a team building perspective. I can’t fought Troy for that.
It’s just sickening seeing teams constantly jumping over us. I still remember when the Cavs had a 1.7% chance to land the #1 pick and they got it lol; that’s the year they selected Wiggins. This format doesn’t help teams who are honestly struggling especially when you can’t attract free agents to sign

People will have to wrap their mind around the fact that trades will happen but it won't be any of our young guys. It's going to be salary dumping, helping other teams unload moves. All the young guys need to come back maybe other than Jaden Ivey

Instead of finding player that fit CADE, maybe we need to see if a STAR player fits the rest of the team, and consider trades for CADE. As far as we know another star player may work well with IVEY, DUREN, STEW, THOMPSON better than CADE. It is easier to replacing one guy then and entire team to fit around that one person.... CADE A great player but i do not see it = wins no matter who on this roster with him.

@@scottwickett1273 No said we didn't need a new GM, and a New coach. But fans have to start realizing CADE may not be the guy that = WINNING for this team. And instead of fitting a bunch of new players around him, build a team and fit them into what we have. Same as the Going to work pistons did.

He had good player around him that didn't fit his playing style due to he demands the ball and all the offense is ran thru him, not allowing others be effective on the court.

We had 3 season of stewart & CADE being injured, 2 season of DUREN getting over 10 ankle injuries, now Thompson has a blood clot issues, they havent updated us on, and blood clot are serious for people that travel a lot, and can prevent traveling by plane due to risk of death. But you would still look to trade IVEY?
If i had to trade anyone it would be the injured guys, it a bad investment imo. I agree keeping young player and not getting old player, but if had to trade anyone it would be the injured ones.
Sasser should not be on the list at all: he's older than all the others and is a meaningless tiny no-defense bench player.

I'm just blown away at the nonstop trade talks. If Weaver is out GM then the core 4 should stay the same as he drafted them therefore to force him to trade any of these guys is doing the same thing Gores did by hiring Monty without Weaver approval.
I personally think we need another GM but keeping Weaver and forcing him to make trades that he doesnt want to do is the most Detroit Pistons thing ever.
Our entire fan base is completely looking past this. I would think if youre someone who wants trades you want Weaver out because requesting trades from Weaver makes absolutely no sense. If you believe the players he drafted suck then why would you want him kept?
