Im all for trading down with the Jazz to allow them to draft Buzelis who would fit like a glove with them having Kessler, Maurkanen already to play the wing which Buzelis can do if our owners were really working for sib clients best interest

If Zaccharie risacher isn't available at 5. We should draft Dalton Knecht he is a better fit than Matas
If Zac Rasacher fall, pistons need to consider him, he can spread the floor, shoot off dribble, and plays good iso ball and is a good defender. Clingan is also someone we should be looking at, great inside rim protector/post, just last mid range and long range jump shot but he could turn into a great defender for this team.
Buzelis is 10x the player risacher is. Risacher is killian 2.0 and im not the only one who thinks that

@@adam711s I can due to many are saying the spurs want to draft a pg. Or the pistons may be able to trade up, and give them a few 2nd round future picks t hat we really do not need right now, with all the young player on the roster.
Why don't we draft Zach Edey? Everyone seems to think Clingon is a top 5 pick because of his defense yet he got destroyed by Edey didn't he?
I mean everyone says Detroit can't draft another 19 y/o project that it may actually hurt our current players so why not draft someone that's ready to play tomorrow?
I seen an interview with Rasheed Wallace where he said Edey's the best player in college bb therefore he'd draft him at 1 which is what got me thinking.

If Troy’s speciality is “drafting talent”. We need to draft the highest upside player, and then he’s done if it doesn’t pan out this year. If that’s Matas, even with the Tellem connect, so be it. But we’re so far away from contention, that a Dalton or zaccharie high floor, low ceiling, player is not what the team needs. Yes we need shooting. But we don’t need to be stuck at drafting the 9th pick for many many years with boarding the playoffs. I know trust the process has colossally failed. But in a draft this weak, you need to do a “home run swing”, as Troy said in 2023. And it needs to go over the fences for the fans sake, because you did your job right as a front office…

Matas or Donovan would be great and honorable mentions would be Alex karaban , Baylor sheierman or maybe even edey
I think we will end up with Knecht, Topic or Shepard, i think we go for high floor instead of high ceiling
Buzelis shooting will come around think he comes in shooting better than ivey did but Cody Williams imo best option or trade 5th sassor couple second parker from Houston

The Rockets need a developmental PG. They don't need a center. Hard to understand why they would reach for Clingan.
That pick is questionable. What role would Sengun play as he has proven to be a good multi dimensional center. Yeah he has work to improve defensively but look at the improvement from a team aspect.
I know they drafted Thompson last year as a PG & brought in FVV to be the starter. So where would he fit in that lineup if they were to draft another PG?
@@michaelpowell9152 I can see the argument for a forward rather than a PG.
I don't follow the Rockets as closely as I should but I think Amen could pair well with a PG off the bench until he takes over for FVV.
I think Cam can play both 2/3 so they have some flexibility in that area.
I prefer to draft best player available but the Rockets might be in position to reach for fit. But why reach for a center when you have Senguin and Jabari already. They can just sign a Clingan style guy for under 10m
@@pheralanpathfinder4897 yeah I see when Thompson on the floor, he isn't playing in the guard positions, He spends a lot of time of ball in the "dunkers spot". His shooting or lack of kinda dictates that at this time. He is versatile especially on the defensive end. Houston has players that are repetitive somewhat in Thompson, Whitmore & Eason depending on the lineup/opposition. Not a bad problem to have though
@@michaelpowell9152 I think the Thompson Twins have high upside but it doesn't hurt to have options. Especially when guys can defend multiple positions like Amen. Risascher and Buzelis could both be good options.
