It's unbelievable to me that they called her out in 2007. She won most of her Majors AFTER 2007. She was just getting started by 2007.
By the time of 2008, all of her main rivals had retired (Graf, Hingis, Henin, Capriati, even Seles and Clijsters). It's easy to look good if you don't have serious competition.
@@fundhund62 They all left because they knew they could no longer beat her and Henin and Clijster came back. Venus, Azarenka, Davenport, Jankovic, Li Na, Sam Stosur, etc... Were just as good as those who retired, if not better. Serena was just in a level all by herself.

She claimed to not know anything about the medication 😏 A professional athlete taking medications they have no knowledge of, is absolutely ridiculous and extremely irresponsible. It just wouldn't make any sense to be taking things without checking it out first, but some athletes continue to do just that.
