My most adventurous approach was in Tioman island (Malaysia), on a Dash-7 of Berjaya Air in 2013. The runway is around ~3.000 ft long and has hilly terrain on both ends, so we flew in from the sea and did a 90° turn in ~100 ft. altitude to line up with the runway around 10 seconds before touchdown. I could see the tree tops so close to my window 😬 Nowadays, no Dash-7 are flying there anymore. Twin Otters are the biggest aircraft currently landing in Tioman. So glad for this unique experience.

With you asking where your viewers are going for the summer I noticed that it is hard to find for which company you are flying. I think I know now. Perhaps you wil fly us to LPA on June 10??
