Baffle edges should all be rounded off.

Good work but you rounded off the edges that don’t affect the sound. You should also have rounded off the edges of the baffle to improve dispersion and smooth out the frequency response.And all screws for the drivers should be flush, not proud.

awesome build, i just cant get behind that woofer, such low sensitivity, need all 200watts of amp to get good sound out of it. Dayton does offer a few 6" options with sensitivities around the 92db. your getting the same volume for half the amplifier power. if you've got a huge amp, that's fine, but if you want to power it with some little tpa3116d2 chips, you wont get much out of them lol

Ok. So I asked about the 7” version. Maybe with the Dayton audio reference (paper) 7” (x2 maybe) with the 7” epique sub and two 7” PR. Not sure about the amp though. I’d figure with it getting a signal from the receiver that either a passive network or two channel amp would work. I’d def like to hear a demo of this as a pair to see if a sub would even be needed. Even in the 5 1/2” version.

Definitely would’ve used a different method of wiring up the speakers over soldering if something happens to one of the drivers you’d either have to cut the wire or break out the soldering iron, connectors would’ve been a decent option over soldering imo especially for maintenance or driver replacement even modern speakers use spade connectors.

Great video! I didn't understand if you are using two amps with a cable to carry the signal to the other speaker or one amp per speaker.

i would use different drivers but your version is not bad at all. and they look amazing. i would use two dayton audio rs125p-8 for the midrange. the paper based membrane would probably have low dirty resonances in the upper frequency range above 2kHz. i would go for an M-T-M configuration with a Vifa/peerless XT300 KT/4 ring radiator. those tweeters are very smooth because of a low tube-like k3 distortion.

Man, I would love to build an audio monitor box, but I can't measure it to make it look good, it's not professional at all, I'd just like to use some speakers I have, there are 3 speakers, one 15w, 5w, and a 2 25w for a 30w tweeter, it would be like a mine tower, could you help me with some measurements or a website so I can build a project?

I found the same type of workbench, a cabinet makers I believe, in an Antique Store some years ago to add to my shop. It didn't have the cabinet below, just a shelf It came with two dog peg of steal o ly more rectangular than these. Along the edges of both wood vises there were saw cut marks and such. I took firstly an electric planner to the entire top, tray, top and faces of the vises to reve gouges and cut markes. It came out beautifully.
