Thank you so much! I have tried several videos and yours is the best! ❤
muchas muchas gracias!!!! muy bello, saludos
Love Portuguese knitting!! Thanks for more on this subject.❤
I'm aware of color work, but never knitted anything with color work. Thank you for the information and now I'm going to knit something with color work in it.
YOURE A LIFESAVER
Wow .... gorgeous sweater
Finishing....you don’t knot at all ?
Hi Is it totally spelled out in the pattern on the sleeves for newbies ? Thanks
This is a great tutorial- many thanks❤
Thank you for your easy to understand instructions. Knitting and purling I go quickly, but casting on flummoxed me. I watch this over and over, and what really helped was your saying my brain will want to overthink it. Which is exactly what happened. Once I told my brain to be quiet and I thought about what the tail yarn and the ball yarn needed to do, it made perfect sense. It’s much easier than my brain wanted it to be!!
Thank you. I really needed someone to say how fiddlie they are.
Very helpful. Thank you
Thank you so much! I've been struggling with this for so long, I finally managed to work it out thanks to you!
I did my first stranded projected without researching first and it definitely was tight 😅 This video was very informative! I might try that failed pattern again in the future. :)
Gracias!!
so helpful! love to see this method of catching the floats and see an example of magic loop colorwork
It would show better if your dark yarn & dark needles weren't so close in color. I had to squint. Otherwise, great video. Thanks!
I noticed this too, but only after I filmed it during editing! 🤦♀️ I wrote a prep note to myself for next time, ha ha! 🤣
Excellent long version, super excellent SHORT! You def have your act together! Amazing lady🌸
El traductor en Español please! Gracias! ❤️
🎉 Thank you for this very comprehensive, close up and slow video plus written ‘ mantra’ chart! Stellar instruction!!!
Thank you for a very clear video and explanation👍. Well done👏
Amazing❤ I often feel sick to knit two colours but you fix my problem of catching the floats. Thanks for sharing this easy trick. I will try.
This is a great video. I’m also wondering about working with 3 colors. Can’t wait to see if you can figure it out.
Excellent explanation of the Tubular cast on/Kitchener stitch on circular needles. I almost gave up on it until I watched your video and followed along. You give such clear lessons! Thank you!!
Does this also keep it stretchy?
Yes it does!!! 👍
Perfect, have started knitting in your demonstrated way and it's taking time to get used to as I'm a thrower, but the stitches are coming out so loose and stretchy it's great! Thanks for this helpful vid, now a big fan of thee 🤘🤘
Wau! You’re so good, thanke You so much 🥰
❤❤❤❤❤
I've had some tinking and frogging lately so I totally relate. However, I've never seen a crochet hook / knitting needle combo before. What brand? 🤔
That is called a Silvalume Handi Tool! You can find them on Amazon. 👍
@@AuroraTalksKnit I'll be checking this out. Thank you!
I really loved your demonstration, but I'm a little confused.on the back side, you don't purl both yarns the same way.. when you purl the brown yarn it goes up and around the needle but when you purl the green yarn you do it the other way around.. doesn't it create twisted st for the green yarn??
Good spot! It actually creates a twisted stitch if you don't go the other way round. For some magical reason it works itself out!
❤ how totally awesome are you! Thank you so much for these great tutorials you do! ❤😊
❤ I am just learning how to do color work… This is the absolute best tutorial I have ever seen! I have tried several other ways and they are so tedious, thank you ☺️ thank you 😊 thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for the video🙏👌💝 It helps me very much!!!!!!
This is fascinating - thank you!!
thank you for the video. i struggled with joining . never looked good.
For @sandeleh !! 🙂
Subscribed! I am here for the tips on Portuguese knitting!
Definitely worth the learning curve. Great video!
I tried to Google the symptom: X's on the needle
Thanks for the video. Always great to learn a new technique.
I asked 9 months ago for the final stitch and join for this BO in the round. Still waiting...
OH my goodness you are right - I completely forgot! Thank you for the reminder - HOLD THAT THOUGHT! :)
Ah I've never seen someone use that knitting pin, my grandmother just feeds the yarn around her neck.
love your sweater pattern.. thanks for the video.. ❤
awesome tip for catching the floats -thank you!
Thnx!!!!
I can't believe this is the first time I've ever seen the k2tog trick! I've always just caught them with the yarn, but that doesn't really secure it, and it often shows through. I wish I'd seen this a long time ago, but I'm glad I finally found it.
I love my weekend or unblocked.
will which hand you have the "background" color thread and the "pattern" color thread have any effect on how it looks or doesnt it matter as long as you keep them in the same hand for the entire project?
This was a godsend. I'm knitting up the musselburgh hat using fingering weight yarn and the increases were driving me nutty.
Great tip for the M1R, I lift the yarn with a tapestry needle and also lift the loop with that needle (and the same for M1L)
