I am a single mom of 4 kids they are worth all the hard choices that you would have to make. I have raised all four on my own for almost 27 years now. My youngest is 18. I was not settling for less then best for them so if that means doing it myself then that is what I did. I pray that things get better for you and that handsome your son of yours.

I am also a DV survivor. I don’t know if you will actually see this but I want to tell you with all of my being that I am SO SORRY THIS HAPPENED TO YOU. People don’t know what to say when they hear these types of things… they don’t want to believe that it is possible. Also, I know your son is your baby but he needs his privacy as a boy going through puberty. It wouldn’t hurt for you to make the living room ur bedroom. Praying for you both. You’re an amazing mom!

Our lifestyles and environments are different, but I very much relate in terms of mental health obstacles and having to move all the accumulated things in hurry. I'm really rooting for you. Also, when you have the time, and energy, maybe try the whole "do I love this/is this a hell yes?" thing. Like I said, we live different lives so we need different things. Personally, I keep more clothes because I need to feel comfortable in different ways since I'm sensitive to the way clothes touch me. But I got rid of many "practical" kitchen things since I don't enjoy cooking and only do it to get the job done. I think sometimes there are pressures to get rid of what we like but keep all these handy tools, sets, office supplies etc., when they're not equally useful for everyone. Like cuttlery- very usefull, but I know myself. The more I keep the more of it ends up in sink.

Our opt shops here in Australia have so many clothes I chop my clothes up for rags instead of using paper towels and the clothes l wore heaps and they are second hand I living in a shed right now and the plastic big piece was under my small mat so didn’t know it was causing a terrible smell underneath until I seen wet water on the edge that I spilt days ago as it was on cement I used rags to clean it up paper towels would have just gone to holes

Moving is very stressful. Try to take it daily. Don't beat yourself up. It will get done Try not to cry, it will give you a headache. You can do this.

Try a product called odo ban. I use to clean apartments and when we cleaned units that people smoked in we had to use it on walls and carpets cabinets. It accutly worked
