Can we get some warrior stick reviews
I got a pair of 703’s in around 2010 or 2011 in LA. Custom footbed. Baked and Steppe Steel blades. Absolutely phenomenal skates.
I always find it interesting to see how every one tapes their stick and how different everyone is. For me personally I have never liked the ribbed feel. I basically put 5 wraps on the top (super small knob) then just continue that down about 6 inches and that's it. super thin, barely any knob. I've also never understood the point of taping the toe, other than looks.
1. Play hockey as long as I can (I'm 51 yrs) 2. Watch ice/inline hockey 3. Wear a hockey jersey when at home
I find its best to spend your money on skates first and foremost. Everything else just grab as you can find it on sale.
Cost of first stick = $0 Cost of first skates = $0 Hand-me-down gear as a kid.
In two-three years I will become a nhl goalie! I’m speaking it into existence now and Idc what you gotta say, my save percentage will be solid af and everyone will know me by that saying! I’m not only going to do this for myself but for my loved ones and everyone who did but also didn’t believe I could do it.I pray that God guides me through this journey and gives me the strength to overcome any obstacle that comes my way as I will not quit and I will do everything for his glory. I will do this! I have to do this!!!
What about main thing? Geometry of this holders?? It is main parameter and no one word about it.
I used to live in Ireland, and I played in the IIHA & I wished y’all the best of luck growing the sport. The growth has potential in the country.
1. Witness my team win a Stanley Cup and have a parade. 2. Score goal in Rogers Arena and hear the goal horn ring (my beer league rents the ice once a year) 3. Play a beer league game with my brother and/or father in law 4. Get a hat trick in a beer league game. 5. Play on an outdoor rink with my friends.
Mr. GRAF, I had a pair of 703 top lights in the mid 90's and they were and are the best pair of skates I had ever owned.
Get your hands on an Aluminum! Find an Easton Aluminum in Mid flex and take shots with it. There's a guy with Easton Aluminum shafts for sale in the UK as I post.
Savagery is a dying breed
Not worth hundreds of dollars. I don't care how much "tech" is put into it, it'll break way too quickly. I still use the Aluminum and I still shoot harder than most and players are afraid to stick check or slash me!!!
Regarding your "hockey road trip" idea: you could definitely spend a few days here in the Twin Cities in Minnesota in January/February, as long as it's a "normal" winter (it wasn't this past winter 😢) Minneapolis and St. Paul are typically at the top of the list in the nation for the quality and quantity of our city parks, and most parks will flood a huge area for skating, put up boards for hockey, and so on. It's always cool to meet people who are in from out of town for hockey tournaments and stuff and have their minds blown by the fact that it's actually cold enough to skate on a football field or whatever 😀 We also have a ton of lakes in the cities to skate on, and if you time it right you could even play at the US Pond Hockey Championships on Lake Nokomis.
ive always used one of there goalie grips on my regular stick, found it just fits my style of playing better
These old Ribcores are the best. Best fit and comfort and super cheap new as old stock on sideline swap
By far my hockey family’s favourite hockey videos! Keep up the great work!!
This A.I. bot sucks
I’d love to be a Stanley Cup final game where the cup is won!
Thinking of SVH customs ... I have overpronation and flatfeet with custom orthotics... will SVH customs be able to consider the orthotics and manufacture the boots?
watch the canucks in the playoffs live would be my number one
I'm 46, when I started playing, I remember my dad would take me to Canadian Tire when the Cooper stick I was using was in discount at 7$. Then I witnissed the evolution, going to Titan and Koho, then Easton aluminium stick, composite stick and shaft and now carbon/boron etc...
I'd love to do the Red Wings fantasy camp, but they have a 5-6-year waiting list, and I'm already 52. Several other NHL teams have Fantasy camps where you get to skate with current and former players from those teams. There is also a Mario Lemieux camp, and there used to be a Gretzky Hall of Fame camp.
I don't get how people can tie their skates without checking once at least whether the tongue allows that forward leaning motion. You tie it nice and tight and then on the ice you are screwed because you can't lean into your skates properly.
i skated the original graf 703 when i was a highschooler in california and now im in korea at 31 my dads sending me a new pair of 535
1. See the Pittsburgh Penguins play - done 24 November 2001 2. See Sidney Crosby play 3. Meet Mario Lemieux 4. Play on a frozen pond/lake/river/sea 5. Be able to play regularly again - I live in Australia and had to move 4hr away from the nearest rink for work several years ago.
Oh man, I hope you can see Crosby play before it’s too late. He’s simply the best
A 1/2 was what i started with. Now, i use a 5/8 🐺
Definitely a cool bucket list! I love the bus idea, you should definitely do that and make it a point to attend the US Pond Hockey Championship in Minnesota. I would also suggest that you add the Minnesota State Hockey Tournament on your bucket list, as there really isn't anything else like it when it comes to youth hockey. If you do come visiting the small northern MN towns like Warroad, Roseau, Grand Rapids, Eveleth (largest hockey stick and US Hockey Hall of Fame), Duluth.... There are so many cool places in MN and Canada to visit that you could spend your entire trip just doing that but New England and Michigan are also pretty incredible for hockey, culture and history of the sport. Look forward to seeing what you put out!
Well, you've already scratched #7 off my list: Hearing from British hockey fans. 😀
Come out to Canada and I’ll take you to a few lakes around Banff. Keep in mind the window is small in early Winter when the ice forms but before the snow has come.
Lake Louise is my #1 hockey bucket list item.
@@jeffbarrera871 my second home at one time
1. Playing college hockey 2. Meeting my favorite player 3. Playing hockey on glass ice
Here's what was said "because it's what they do." This explanation doesn't explain anything except players and owners like fighting.
At least give us the weight of each skate.
Hello, this video and a lot of your other videos mention baking skates for a better fit. Can you please do a video (or at least comment here) with your recommended process to bake skates at home? I know that True Hockey did a video on how to do this at home but I cannot find anything related to CCM or Bauer skates. I think the process for non-carbon fiber skates must be different. Thank you. Tom
1 - Play an actual game (I'm 25 and started skating 4 months ago) 2- can't play a hockey game without a scrap 😂 3 - take a girl on a skating date (the hardest one) 4- see the penguins or rangers live 5- a dope ass Instagram pic of me in full kit
Live an hour from Banff and have skated on crystal clear ice about 3-4 times in my life. Really cool but rare. Best time seems about mid December. My son, at about age 8 thought it was great to skate after the fish.
1. Get to play on an ODR 2. Get to go overseas to play/ experience hockey culture in another country 3. Score a goal (still relatively new to hockey, about a year in!) 4. Watch TBL play live 5. The rink I play at has been invited to play in a few beer league tournaments in the US, so getting good enough to do that would be amazing too As an Aussie would definitely be excited you do a video about the hockey culture down here!
Any Way Coach Jeremy could collaborate With you On a Crystal clear skate ?
1. Play on an outdoor rink 2. Visit the hockey HOF 3. Meet any of my favorite players
It’s adjacent to your list but I was lucky enough to get to play hockey in New Zealand as a part of a camp when I was younger and it was the most eye opening and life-changing experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend going there as well if you go to Australia. My bucket list is: 1) Crystal Clear ice 2) Play in Europe 3) Make more friends when I move out and play beer league 4) Coach a team at some point (no specific level) 5) Play a role in the advertising campaign at one of the major gear manufacturers
Hey Hockey Tutorial Folks! This is cool for me. Tomorrow, Thursday April 25th, I play my very first hockey game. I’m 33 and started playing back in January. Everything has been preparation for this game. My hockey bucket list 1. Get a hat trick 2. Meet Filip Forsberg 3. Gordie Howell Hat Trick 4. Own a brand new pair of top of the line skates 5. Step down from playing and coach my son
Skate the rideua canal and as many Canadian ODR’s as possible!
As a Caps fan.. don't watch the playoffs.. we are doing terrible..... I can say that my sons team has played a full game at the Caps home ice, announcer and all (Verizon Center, I will never call it Capitol One Arena) against a sister team, so 1 checked off the bucket list I guess (Go Navy Youth Hockey)
They need to loose and I’m a caps fan, we need our bears back in Hershey!!!
I don’t play hockey with buckets, though perhaps if one went over my head it would make an improvement. Thanks, I will try this on Friday. I’ll keep you posted. As an side, does it have to be a Bauer bucket, or would any bucket do?
You should have skated on the canal in Ottawa, Canada !!
Winterlude in February is a celebration that takes place on the Rideau Canal. From Dow's Lake to the Parliament buildings. They have hockey games, food and drink trucks on the ice, ice sculptures etc. Its a 7.8km long skating rink!
1. Score a goal on a breakaway 2. Take part in a tornament 3. Score a goal during a tornament 4. Watch an NHL team live
Tommy's number one wish is to have his toes reach the end of a size 7 skate
early gang 🔔
These ‘accessories’ are for people who don’t know how to do it. I have an original Sparx, and a very basic edge checker. @thegreatchrisB is right. There is no “zone.” It’s either level or it’s not. And if you have a high level skater, a few degrees off is a lot. Sparx is trying to bridge the gap between people who have no idea what they are doing, and people who do it themselves. It’s way more profitable to sell someone a new tool, to fix their problem, than it is to teach them how to use the tool they already have.
