You can’t feel the puck as much with the vapor because it uses an extra stiff foam, the Nexus uses a little bit softer of a foam than the vapor that’s why it has better feel. I also don’t know how
you can’t feel the different shaft shapes between the Vapor & Proto. The Vapor is fully rounded and the Proto is super square. I have both and it’s a pretty obvious difference

4:58 It's not inconsistent. The hand placement with mid kick sticks is crucial because the entire shaft bends while shooting. The lower your bottom hand is, the more it feels like a low kickpoint stick.
Well having a stick that changes the way it shoots based on where your hands are versus a stick that shoots more or less the same no matter where your hands are, the first stick is gonna feel inconsistent.

From my experience, and some of my teammates, the hyp2rlite is much whippier than the proto, but then again, some sticks are naturally stiffer, so I may be incorrect, but from multiple sources, including myself, the proto is stiffer than the hyp2rlite
Low kick sticks are always more whippy compared to a mid kick shaft

I love the Proto for 4 periods untill it broke and i went back to the agent.
Buying a stick should be the kids choice let him or her find the one he likes better for the feeling of it and find a cheaper version to try it out I personally did it and found I didn’t like the nexus when I first got one and went to a vapour and found that was the one for me

MY 13 year old has broke 2 protoR sticks in 30 days. He does like it but it breaks easy. i wont be buying him another.

Really no need for the most top end stick at that level. Just get the second tier stick it'll be cheaper and last longer. Honestly probably play better too, cause he'll be using the same stick for longer

Both generations of hyperlites have a terrible blade and feels. If Bauer put the blade from their BGP2B pro stock sticks aka. Vapor ADV sticks in a retail stick that would be sick.
Original hyperlite > hyp2rlite?
they are both mediocre tbh. The Agent is their best low-kick stick currently. Not the most durable, and doesnt have as good of blade feel as the Proto R. But the snap and pop you get off your shots, and power is much more consistent
