I really want my kids to do this, but man.. our curriculum is adding up!!!! & I’m actually simplifying this year! ☝🏻 Simplifying doesn’t Necessarily mean cheaper 😅 Thought I could Cut corners without the parent guide… never used Gather Round, although I’ve eye-balled it for years!! Hey mama!! Great video as always. Did you ever find this to be to much for your 7th grader? We stated year 1 level A at the end of 8th/working on through summer and I thought about jumping to year 1 level B for 9th grade. We used the TGATB and just felt like there was a huge gap in writing that’s partly started why I started my son at the lower level but I’m not sure if I should stay the path or move to year 1 b..

You mentioned a good book for boys, for building character, spiritual growth, several vlogs ago. I can’t find where it was, do you recall what that might have been? I am looking for something that my husband can go through with my boys.

Generations curriculum has wonderful christian books!

My son is very gifted in math but has serious adhd. He couldnt get through the Shormann samples even though I know he would have been fine on the coursework. We are doing Dennsion Algebra 2 for his 10th grade year. The no fuss curriculum is great for adhd kids.

Wow! I've been watching your videos for several hours today (yes, about 3 hours). This hit hard. I have the book Fervent and have picked it up but never finished it. I've wanted a deeper prayer life and I enjoy Priscilla and her material. I've allowed distraction and defeat to win over fervent prayer to my Lord. Thank you for this video! You have changed my life and the lives of generations to come.

I won't be downloading the app, but I appreciate the "ah-ha" moment to use a specific sound or routine recognition item to help me be specific with my prayer time. It helps me to associate these "helpful cues" for this specific time. THANK YOU!!! I feel you are a close friend.

I'm legitimately so happy for you, that you have reached this moment of revelation. The trappings that we fall into, that we strive for, when we finally get off that crazy train to live in our authenticity, it's so freeing. It took me moving into my 40s, family deaths and children's neuro-developmental diagnoses to proclaim that enough is enough. I saw that in production of amare they use soy...I know soy is not healthy....do you know anything about this? Also it states natural flavors....which could mean anything? I'm skeptical....I love your enthusiasm.....but cautious 😮

So good. Thank you! Christ is perfect, but an illusion for the rest of us. There's so much freedom in letting that illusion go. I can't seem to relate as well to picture-perfect appearances on YT or anywhere else really. I quit FB years ago because it was hard not to feel like a complete failure in so many ways, comparing myself, and actually feeling angry about not getting more "likes" than "them" just so I felt more perfect. Ugh. Such an ungodly perspective I had. The thing is, you know they have struggles like we do, everyone does, but it is so refreshing and encouraging to see people for who they really are and where they are truly at, especially Christians. There seems to be this false idea that if your life isn't going just awesome or perfect that God isn't truly blessing you. Not to sound cliche, but you nailed it when you talked about how it's through the mess that we often experience the nearness and love of God in ways we've never known. Mess is BLEST. 😂😂 Ok, that line was corny but you know what I mean. 😊

Love your message! I agree with so much here & have learned to not be a perfectionist just to please people. Just learning to please God & our families is enough. There will always be haters & critics even if we do & say the right things. I also wanted to suggest a podcast/ youtube videos that have helped us within the past year or 2 so much with under scripture. FOCUS PRESS AND..... WORLD VIDEO BIBLE SCHOOL. focus press does very well & world video bible school is very helpful, but be a little cautious on just a couple of things... These videos will help u understand scripture well & focus press goes in depth well too. Just suggesting these incase you need any answers to any questions. Keep speaking out momma! Thank you for this video! I’ve been a subscriber of yours for some time . I enjoy the raw videos. I am guilty of feeling the perfectionism about everything, also doesn’t help that I have OCD lol. I’m not a people pleaser but do get caught up in wanting to be for some reason.🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve always been that person that doesn’t care what people think but with certain circumstances or people I do. It drives me crazy. I am a Christian but don’t go to an actual church. I use to then it grew bigger, which is awesome and I know what God wants but makes me feel not as connected to the church body, if that makes sense. I always feel a little guilty about not attending in person but then I remember this.- “When two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20. So we watch online and I study bible with my boys at home. I am always learning with them and enjoy the time together.

I am so glad to hear you say you don't go to church and its just a building. This just took so much off my shoulders as you have opened my eyes as I don't think anyone has wver told me that before. I struggle going to church with three boys ages 8, 6 and 17 months as they are wild animals who can't sit still that long. I don't have a spport person to help me juggle that kind of chaos ( and I wouldn't change it for the world to have my kiddos any differently at that age). Sounds like I'm making excuses to not go to church but mentally and physically I can't bring myself to go in this season in my life. It was great 4 years ago when I had two kids and they were little but not today.... I also struggle reading the bible and am trying so hard to get in the word daily. I am an awful juggler with life and trying to juggle young kiddos. As you know its exhausting with 3 boys who don't stop moving, constantly arguing and competitive with each other😢. I keep saying it just a phase, I hope! I love your videos and how you pour your heart out to us as I feel you in each video I watch ❤. Thank you for being here and helping me along the way. You also talk about perfection which I am not. Especially when it comes to presentation of the house BUT this always bothers me because I can't seem to catch up/maintain and make things look or stay clean/organized that I need to stop letting it bother me and to except the fact our house is lived in especially with three boys ❤. You have me looking at life and things differently, thank you!
