Thank you for sharing! As moms I feel like we’re always in that mode where seasons are busy, full of stress, and we stay in that moment. I’m glad you were able to escape from that and able to get back home feeling refreshed. Our summer has been similar to yours. My son had surgery, my husband went to hospital for kidney stones, and my daughter had been in and out of doctor for certain tests. There’s been times I just cry and want to see my best friend. She lives a little ways from me and when we make plans something always happens. Sometimes our minds and hearts need that friendship to escape the hard things we’re dealing with. Glad you were able to laugh and have girl time. God is good!

Ahhhhh, you expressed perfectly what the trip meant to me as well! I will forever be changed because of the 5 days we spent together in North Carolina. We waited 3 extra years for it and God magnified the experience for each of us. Seriously, so many tiny miracles bonding us together because of our love for Jesus and for each other. I love you my sweet sister. And we must start saving our pennies for another trip. ❤
