- Welcome back, friend! Thank you for joining me for another cozy fall day. I wanted to bring you along for some encouragement and inspiration that I received from my 10 year old recently. Let us not forget to stop and smell the roses. To unplug and unwind long enough to see the beauty all around us. Life really is so incredible. With joyful hearts, seeing the beauty in our everyday surroundings...big and small... regardless of our circumstances.

HAM AND POTATO SOUP RECIPE:
2 cups potato, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup celery sliced
1/2 cup carrots
1/4 cup onion
1 1/2 tspn Salt
1/4 tspn pepper
2 cups boiling water
1/4 cup butter
2 cups milk
1 cup ham (diced)
1/4 cup flour
2 cups cheddar cheese
combine first 7 ingredients in a 3 qt saucepan.
cover and simmer 5-10 minutes. set aside.
melt butter and add flour + milk. cook on medium until thick. add cheese, ham and sauce to veggies. heat through and enjoy!
