From what I've observed over time, most of what AI makes - especially in the ship department - look incredibly stupid. However, there are a few gems in there, sprinkled among the rest, that actually don't look half-bad, and even well-done in some cases.

Hi. I had a thought, and thought about making a post on my channel for it, but then figured I'd just give that idea to you: If built, what registry will the Titanic II have? Will she be registered in Liverpool, like the original, or in Brisbane, Australia, since that's where Blue Star Line is registered? Might be worth making a video about.
It's a great idea, but I have no information yet where she will be registered. It should be Livepool, but as you probably know, there are ports of "convenience" which are cheaper to be registered to. For example, the QM2 used to have "Southampton" printed on her bum, but now it says "Hamilton". I believe this change allows them to hold weddings onboard for profit.

Not sure I would feel entirely safe onboard if Palmer was actually giving the orders as captain. Even Bruce Ismay had enough wits to realize that he was technically just another passenger.

We dont know yet. The QM2 has an original whistle from the 1936 Queen Mary and a copy. They are no longer steam-powered (no boilers) but by compressed air. A bit if steam appears to come out, but it's a "special effect".
Hey Waterworld, is the titanic 2 only setting sale from Dubai to Southampton or is it also going to go on the same path the original titanic did?
Palmer originally said Tit II was being built in China, hence the Dubai bit. She was also doing the Southampton to NY bit. However, now she will be built in Europe. The gymnasium for the titanic of the OG sank, after striking the iceberg it’s unfortunate it’s gone but I hope it would be awesome to have the gymnasium be the replica as well while other ones are real for the Titanic II cant wait!

She won't let it be completed. Her souls are already in most every Titanic exhibit. Perhaps with more respect she would allow it. Interference over radios at wreck site, SOS being picked up on dives, orbs over the wreck, and it goes on.

Honestly, I’m just confused on why he chose Titanic right off the gate, surely a replica Andrea Doria would be a better first choice since it fits more closely with modern ship safety standards, it has a beautiful design and can easily perform in ocean going and costal travel meaning that it could essentially act as a cruise ship that can have multiple different routes instead of just the one. It’s smaller, it’s sleeker, it’s fast and it doesn’t have a huge disaster tied to its design other than its sinking which had minimal casualties. It would overall just be a great ship to start a revival era of the ocean liner with, in my opinion at least.
@jonathanmcginley8128 Andrea Doria is a great idea, but the general public has never heard of her. Titanic is the most famous ship even built, for all the wrong reasons! It's not clear if Titanic II will be successful - only time will tell! The cheapest option is of course to just build a new cruise ship and forget about history.

The “Titan” ocean liner was designed to have 5 screws? Two wing screws on each side and a center screw sitting just forward of the rudder? Curious to know what his plans were as far as the propulsion configuration…Certainly you could not fit that many reciprocating engines and they wouldn’t produce the speed he wanted. If all turbine I could see that vessel being plagued by vibration issues and not to mention the fuel consumption to run that many engines and maintain a high service speed.
To be honest, the project spec was like an ocean liner "fans" wish list. Nothing about it seemed realistic to me. Titanic II on the other hand is achievable. I have more SS Titan videos in my members area. (Memberdhip is cheap). The late Mr. Ricker approved them.

@@WaterWorld1 Have you ever looked deeper in how trust worthy Palmer and his projects are? His hot air is spreading since 2012 and nothing ever has happened. A lot of critiques have reached the project (for good!) if the ship will ever have any success due to the fact it's based on an outdated system that seperates rich people from poor without any middle class which would mean people without the money could only be travaling under bad circumstances like the people did in 1912...

You can stay in a cheap inside cabin or an expensive big balcony suite or duplex. Some ship have different resterants, depending on cabin grade, even private pools and deck areas for the top dollar accommodation.
