- Clive Palmer’s vision is to not only build a ship, but rebuild a legend that has captivated millions of people for over a century. Central to this vision is an authentic passenger experience that recreates life aboard the most famous passenger liner in history. In 2012, the year of the 100th anniversary of Titanic’s maiden voyage, Professor Palmer’s vision evolved into a journey and Blue Star Line’s vision to build Titanic II was born. I saw your blog post about this earlier this morning, and went 'Wait: did they just update the website or something?' I just visited and *holy man they did. It looks SO GOOD.* I could've quite literally been there all day seeing all that's new but I've got some important stuff to get done before the semester ends, so I need to come back ASAP when I have plenty of time to indulge. Not gonna lie: a part of me didn't think the website would ever get a proper update. I'm excited. 🤩🌟🌟
Yes it excited me too! The web site was unchanged for six years! However, if you look closely at some of the text (as I said in my blog post) there are some errors. (It mentions balcony cabins, for example!) Still, at least things are moving. I've turned much of the text from the BSL web site into short videos, for those that can't read! ;-) However, the first one posted (Dining) today is not doing so well. :-(
@@WaterWorld1 What if balcony cabins aren't an error? Maybe it's a surprise, and they just found a unique way to incorporate them?
I can't wait to see it irl
Should be 2027, as you know!
@@WaterWorld1 after all those delays I'm a bit worried
Isn't it weird there's now 2 blue star lines of different origin?
Edit: the second one is an old now cargo line (although the og company that managed it doesn't exist anymore)
I think Cunard have the copyright of White Star Line as they merged with them in 19??.
@@WaterWorld1 I refer that there's a cargo line called blue star (previously blue star line)
@@WaterWorld1 but yes they do
