I’ve gotten as much as 65mpg on my 2008, but as little as 35mpg with an average of 50mpg. With these bikes being fairly low on power and not exactly what one would call “aerodynamic” I find that conditions make a massive difference to effective fuel economy. The same is very true for top speed: In tailwind conditions I can easily hit over 100mph, while in headwind conditions I can barely hold 65mph.

They’re riding whatever their Government tells them they can ride without question.
