The childhood story she tells that is the title of the film how she tried to save a lamb from slaughter intrigued me personally because as a young girl one Easter I saw some lambs and asked for one as a pet and was granted the lamb and it was saved from slaughter consequently as likely that's what happened to the other ones. Hannibal saw people like animals to be eaten like livestock too so to him it was a hierarchy and food chain motive I suppose.
