I am currently in the United States, and I have an approved form i-360 as far back as July 2023 but on the approval, letter was stated that I am not eligible to file an adjustment until I observed some certain steps with NVC for proper forms and payments in order to avail immigrant visa before I could adjust. I was asked to contact NVC since I am here in the United States and my question is: ca I apply for adjustment of status now with a visa waiver form or needed to wait to hear from NVC on the next phase since I am running out of time since my SD6 approval notice.

I am of an age where I would theoretically have qualified to have to register and when I somewhere between 9 and 12 my mom moved to the Netherlands. I have a dutch passport and I never had a US passport. I used to be a boy,. but I have since transitioned to female. I have no idea where my dad is, he's a deadbeat but I was born in the US. My mom threw all US paperwork away shortly after we arrived. I have very few memories of the US. So I send an email to the US people that do the registrration and they all but ordered me to register. I told them I am not planning to, and besides I don't know my social security. My mom wants me to hide me having been born in the US because she doesn't want to deal with US banking laws regarding submitting tax information - I own part of the house. The registration office was really adamant that I should register so I sent them a pic of me, which is basically 100% passable female. Even they they said that I could suffer a big fine for actively refusing to register. They can go f themselves. So recently I had to travel to the US for work. I used my Dutch passport. Zero problems. So as far as I am concerned, I am not a USian.
