    I’ve submitted online 539 for extension of stay.I made typo error( given i94 expiration date in place of visa expiration date)But I have attached passport page.How to correct once it is submitted.Does it impact application?

      @LOJOimmigration  Před 2 lety

      Hello! I understand your concerns, but there are a few ways you can go about this. Primarily, even though you have included the attached passport page, I wouldn't count on USCIS to make the correction themselves or overlook the error. They might instead, issue an RFE (Request for Evidence) to inquire about the inconsistency. However, they may not even issue an RFE, so your best bet is to proactively write to USCIS to explain the situation and correct the error. If you have a receipt number from your submitted petition, then that would be a great solution! If you are worried or concerned about your application, or if you receive an RFE from USCIS and want advice on it, please reach out to us by calling the office or visiting our website at www.lojolaw.com and we can set you up with a consultation with the Attorney to address all of your concerns!

    Could you please tell me how long it takes after the biometrics interview because I had the biometrics interview on November 2021, but still I'm waiting for the approval notice of I-539 form change of status? Please reply?

    • @LOJOimmigration
      @LOJOimmigration  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! If you are waiting on your change of status approval, you should visit the USCIS website here: egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ and complete the fields according to the receipt notice you received for your case. This will tell you if your wait time is Outside of Normal Processing Time or not. If it is according to the Case Processing Times page, then you can submit an inquiry on the USCIS website about your case. Unfortunately, it is hard to say how long any case will take for USCIS to adjudicate and issue a response, but since you have gone for Biometrics already, then at least that has already been taken care of! I hope this information helps!

    I'm filing for reinstatement, can I do this online, or do I need to send in mailed paper documents. Which is recommended, consider the fact that uscis says online is now faster, but I dont know anyone who has done it online

    I am a Canadian citizen.
    I came to the USA on a B1/B2 visa and that allowed to me admitted From July 1, 2021 to Jan 2, 2022; and the 1-94 form verifies this.
    .
    Progress
    I applied for an extension December 2021 using the 1-539 form, after which I did my biometrics, December 28, 2021 , and I am currently awaiting approval.
    My extension request that asked is from January 2022 to June 2022
    My Plan A
    1. I have not heard back yet; I assume due to COVID -19.
    2. I am thinking to go ahead and start to apply for a premium EXPEPIED R1 application using the I-907 form and the 1-129 form
    3. The religious institution I am at already has premium processing
    Plan B
    1. Go back to Canda and apply for my R1 there, however that my take a while due to COVID -19 but If I have to go back for roughly 6mths ,and then come back to USA I will
    Plan C
    1. I have none and welcome you advice

    It's been 3 months since my status was terminated, another university has agreed to help with the reinstatement process, they even provided me a letter to support reinstatement, do u suggest an online or mail application. They said I don't need a lawyer for that, if I want to hire o e, I'm free to do so. Also if filing online, will you fill the form 1539 online, or print and fill
