Is it true that you need to stop fertilize when the scapes appear?

Hi there,I gave lots of runners on my strawberry runners but they don’t have any nodules on them yet ,should I cut them all off anyways I have them in a green stock ,and would like to get more plants love your videos

I started garlic from the grocery store in spring(March of this year 2024) by putting the Bulbs in water to grow it's roots, After which I planted them in my raised bed garden. It is June 24, 2024 now and they are growing slowly. This is an experiment for me as I have never grown garlic before. Maybe planted in spring was not good as I hear you planted in fall. Will I need to over winter them to reach maturity?

The wife and I love garlic scapes and wait all year to get them. I just made a pizza with them sliced about a 1/16th of an inch thick with mushrooms, onion and grape tomatoes. When I snip mine they drip a clear liquid. I'm quick to lick that oozing garlicy liquid. It will also deter vampires and others.

Free is for me! I’m 2 months into gardening and trying to absorb everything I can to have fun and a good harvest. 11 cucumbers picked and some green onion tops harvested is all so far, but surprisingly some of my plants are over 3’ and one is 5’ and outgrew the trellis I built 😂😂😂😂😂 ❤❤❤❤❤

Let me guess, the scapes are flowers/seed pops and you want all the energy to go to the bulb.

I harvested my scapes two weeks ago. Today I pulled three to check on bulb size and they are way too small. What should I do? I didn't fertilize except for using a good compost.

Awesome video, so helpful, thank you. I thought the bottom blossom rot was because of a calcium deficiency so I have been feeding mine with calcium water and I’ve been giving them skim milk 50/50 with water. I’ll keep an eye on pollination now that I know. All the best!

Wow two years ago I hope you are still active I have some huge garlic bulbs I didn't think I had time to grow outside but it's the end of June I'm going to try it both ways Both will be in containers I have no idea what is in the soil here and I think this is the way for me not to get chemicals in my food supply I will hope a big harvest Can you tell me the best way to keep it fresh I know how to do for the freezer but I love fresh I like to put little olive oil and roast in my oven mix with homemade butter ohh my it's so good mouth watering at just the thought 😋✅

I watched one of your videos on tomato growing recently, I thought right on, of all the videos I watched I thought this is the one for me. I became the master in so much of a way that I continued on and pruned all my peppers too...Oh well I will know better next year. Plus instead of getting to caught up in too many strategies I am going to make The Ripe Tomato my default gardening channel...thanks man.

I have a bed of asparagus and strawberries. They seem to co-exist pretty well.

I have been pulling up weeds with the roots attached. Would it be better or no to use the roots as well as the leaves to make the fertilizer?

I don't have a greenhouse. I'm in zone 6. Where do I put the in the winter. Can I keep the pots outside until winter?
