Why would you use Guts in a Christianity edit.? Guts is a fictional character who despises religion in his world and he hates everything related to a God or divine being. Use someone who is hustorical and was Christian who endured alot of pain in their life, but never gave up their faith for Jesus. A good examlpe of someone would be Joan of Arc who was a true Chrisrian and even canonized as a Saint. Please stop doing this it's disrespectful to the religion of Christianity.

Speaking of that subject, using people as objects and then throwing them away like trash, that's the worst thing lust can do; for example, Amnon used Tamar as an object when he raped her against her will and then threw her away like garbage. Love is being caring towards one another by supporting each other. That's the major difference.

If you really want to win against lust you have to fast two days a week and also read the Bible for almost 30 minutes every day, this is a way that allows you to avoid falling into the temptation of the flesh, believe me

God's Word of Truth - Galather 5, 16: "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." I live this Truth by obey the Holy Spirit. You need the Holy Spirit and be reborn in Jesus by getting baptised in Jesus name, like Jesus tells what is needed to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. (My story how Jesus removed lust from me after quoting God's Word of Truth = Romans 6.) If you don't have the Holy Spirit just ask him. Luke 11, 13: "13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" We Children of God are reborn in Jesus and thus have a new pure holy nature in Jesus. Sin is dead to us, the bodies sinful desires have no more power over us as long as we walk in the spirit. Romans 6, 4 -12: "4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 knowing this, that our old man [with our old sinful nature] is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. " This is not just theory to me, it is life by faith in Jesus, in his grace. My Story: Before I got baptise, my heart was broken and deeply damaged. My body started to have a great sinful desire, it was like a force over me I could not get rid off. And because of that I could not resist to watch p*rn but I did not wanted to. I was not able to resist temptations because I was under the power of sin (Romans 7). God showed me the solution, he told me I should get baptised in Jesus name and as I was baptised in Jesus name the power of sin was no more and the strong fleshy sinful desire was gone (Romans 6). I was able to not sin and still are able to resist all temptations as long as I walk in the Spirit (Romans 8). After some time I started to sin again because my flesh was awakened and I did not know why and ask God why. He showed me I need to believe that I am 100% pure in Jesus. I believed that because Jesus told his disciples they are already pure because of the words he spoke to them as he washed their feet. And after that God showed me I have to Walk in the Spirit by listen to obey the Holy Spirit. As I did that I again was free of the fleshly desires and could resist all temptations so I did not watched p*rn anymore. But after some time I have played a videogame the Holy Spirit showed me I should not play. And thus I did not walked in the spirit anymore and was not able to resist temptations again. So I watched p*rn again if I got tempted even a litte. But as I gave up the game and ask for forgiveness I then walked in the Spirit again and thus my body was made alive again so I do not have to sin anymore and are able to resist all temptations. It is all by grace not by works. "But if we confess our sins, he is trustworthy and right so that he can forgive us our sins and make us clean from all that is not right in us." = 1 John 9 It is true the Holy Spirit makes our bodies alive if we walk in the Spirit. If your flesh, meaning your emotions, thoughts or feelings, wants you to do something that is against God's Word, against something the Holy Spirit already showed you, then you should not listen to those evil spirits or you will stop walking in the Spirit and thus do something that is against God. You then will not be able to resist temptations anymore as long as you don't repent and ask for forgivenes (confess your sin). We do not fight against the flesh as children of God because Jesus won that fight for us. We fight against evil spirit = lies. Words are spirit, evil spirits are lies and mean words. And evil spirits are also able to manipulate your body from the outside so you might think it is your flesh but in reality it is not the flesh it is the evil spirit / demons who are attacking you. Sometimes God let them test your faith. Because if you want to do something for God the enemy will try to stop doing it and then you need to overcome them by belive in God's Word of Truth instead believing their lies and manipulations. For that we need to equip the armor of God (have faith and have the Word of God in our hearts not just in our mind, and to beat the enemy we need to speak the Word of God sometimes). We overcome lies and evil spirits with the Truth of God, God's Word = Jesus.

I'm 22. I've been addicted to pornography since first getting unrestricted internet access in middle school. I've tried to quit, but the most I've made it clean is a few weeks before backsliding. My mind is full of lust constantly. I struggly greatly to focus on anything and rarely experienced any healthy emotions. I feel like I'll never break free... like I'll never be deserving of an escape from the loneliness, worthy of love. I'm starting to have more and more suicidal thoughts... I only hope at least one person sees this and says a prayer for me... I need all the help I can get.

The chaos and my hidden weakness caused a collapse and a relapse. The relapse caused me deep pain, the collapse and sinking into the depths silently pleading I was surprised by God that He reached down and grabbed hold of my soul and pulled me to safety. I now see that this has only made me stronger and able to see more and repent more. May I always collapse spiritually when I am trying to carry it all by myself. Why on earth would you have lust for your family? It is ridiculously idiotic to compare the love you feel towards your mother or sister to the lust and love you feel towards a female who is not part of your family bloodline. Love and sex is about reproduction, so you cannot put this two examples next to each other as references.
