I think there are some categories that don't need to be super large. I also like that I have found skin care that works for me, so I don't need a bunch of extra products that aren't getting used. I learned that I have wasted so much money in the past with having a larger collection! I have sort of considered getting tattooed lip liner and never having to buy one again. 😅

OH man! I think I had my last one separate on me like that. I can't remember what I ended up doing...remixing it or squeezing out the oil until it got back to the normal consistency. I do like the Milani one, but can't wait to go back to the paint pot.

This makes me curious. What does your collection look like with wearing makeup 10-15 times a month. I know sometimes, we can think we need a lot of products, only to never wear them...or do you get good use on your items with the 10-15 times a month?

I've seen those but never stopped to smell them! I'll give them a sniff when I'm in Target next!

YES!! Life got crazy with work and I was falling behind on tracking, but this video got me back on track and I am so thrilled with the numbers!!

That's awesome!! I always find that long lasting sprays make me look too matte through the day and suck all the moisture out of my skin, so I mix a long lasting with a dewy and I love the finish! I heard a ton of good things about the Butter Believe It spray. Do they still make it?

$175!? WOW!! that's crazy! It's awesome that you can play with PR and do content with it as well while being mindful of your beauty spending! Rain in FL is funny because I want it to rain for hours so I can listen to it, but this time of year, it's either 10 mins of rain here and there, or a down pour that floods the back yard! 😂 Also, hurricane season has already been crazy with the storm happening right now.

Your profile picture is so pretty and the light hair looks amazing on you!! (also cute kitty!) I am trying to slowly lighten my hair back to my natural color and the gray may not be as contrasting, but I am loving the little pops of natures "highlights" 😂

I love that you have been able to find ways to track and be mindful about your collection, even if it is smaller and curated! Seeing empties at the end of the year is very eye opening to see how much we go through!! Body care isn't too excited. Just a tree hut shave oil, my body oils that I talked about a few buys and byes ago, and s tree hut body scrub. If I do a video just reviewing my spread sheets, then I will go over the body care tab and show what products I have. ❤️

How are you doing with your empties?! I know you are shopping your collection, but are you able to get some things used up?

@@erintaylorwrites yes 2 foundations,4 concealers,4 powders, 3 setting sprays 2 lip liners, and several lip mask and lip products. Plus I've got pan on two bronzer's. I've used 42 palettes that were unused starting the year💚

I do use lipliner every day. I’m I totally ok with using one at a time and try to have a lip liner that works with the lipstick/products that I am trying to pan. ❤

@@sandykamenicky7366 Thank you!! And a tip for the lip gloss tubes, get a warm/hot cup of water and as you put product into them, dip it into the hot water to melt the product down to the bottom of the tube. It worked wonders when I did it!

Oh! thank you for the recommendation!! I have not tried anything from Glossier because I've never been the "no makeup, makeup" kind of person but I have always heard wonderful things about the cloud paints!

I think I have found that jewel tones are for me!! I am now looking all over for some more jewel toned shirts! I get why ND put the highlight in there, but it would have been so pretty as just a duo/split pan blush!

You are the second person to tell me about the Cyber palette from UD. I think it was underrated and maybe not marketing correctly but I'm so happy that those of you who have it are loving it!!

Thank you!! Yes! this project makes you realize how much color you have in your collection!! I am thankful to reach from some toned down shades/palettes from time to time. I wouldn't mind wearing color everyday, but sometimes for work, it isn't possible.

Right!! I had to mix in a less pigmented blush to tone it down so that I didn't just end up with a blush brush shaped stamp of berry on my cheek!!

What do you think about the Rare eye shadow formula? Some times a nude look with a pop of color can be very pretty and impactful!

@@erintaylorwrites the RB eyeshadow is one of those "a little dabble do ya" ones that will never be panned. Even the rose shade is pretty warm on me, but everything seems to become orange when I wear it. Any peachy orange shade will do for the look, but I would not buy the RB liquid eyeshadow unless you were ready to commit to one base shade for some weeks, and just embellish with liners and glitters. Truly a one/done on a basic day, too. I have had mine for a couple years and it still seems fine.

@@valariebrown3768 WOW! that is a long time for a liquid shadow to last! I have found out that I am not a liquid shadow person, nor a one and done shadow person. I love that you have found products that work for you and that last!! Do you have a yellow undertone? is that why shades turn orange on you?

@@erintaylorwrites neutral warm, mostly. I just know pink goes peach on me, I have warm hazel-green eyes, warm salt & pepper hair, and dark circles with aging combo dry skin.

@@lorieark4104 Hey there!! Yes, Jayne is a boy. All of our pups (and two of the three that have already crossed the rainbow bridge) are named after characters from the early-mid 2000s show Firefly. It only ran for one season, but we loved that show and my husband started the tradition with Zoey, so when we got a second dog, we went with Malcom. I do have a get ready with me from last year where I talk about the pups! I can’t search for it right this second, but I will find it and reply to you again. ❤️🐶

Maybe that is what I'm smelling...something medical. 😅 I prefer my scents to smell like baked goods or fruit...but I love that you love that scent!! For the Saie product, I don't think I will use it as a traditional highlight, so I will still be working on my franken palette. I have used it to mix in with a cream blush and used it on my shoulders so far! Loved it both ways! I think I'm too oily to put it directly on my face as a highlight.

Oh goodness! Not smelly cat! 😂 The dash on our Caddy read 100 today. It was so hot!! Hubs went to the range and came back soaking wet! It will rain for 15 mins and add to the humidity. Wash thinks that he always needs love. I have to be in his line of sight at all time.

With having asthma and severe allergies, I try not to wear anything that smells at night. Even some lotions/hand creams are too much. I only started to be able to wear perfume a few years ago after I went through 3 years of allergy shots. If I really can't stand to wear it on my body anymore, I will spray it on the curtains in my office as a room spray.

I feel the same! I don't mind having extra products in this project since I do normally use it for only usage goals. ❤️
