Grew up with GS’ hope to have another of my own one day (when I have a living situation that’s best for having one, anyway) when they love their family they’re bonded for life. They’re silly and fearsome and loyal. They make you laugh, they stay close when you cry, and they’ll defend your home like nothing else matters. They’re the best big baby dogs and I love them with all my heart.

I used to work at a motel in one of the perks was I could bring my dog to work. Also, anything that seems nerve-wracking on a graveyard shift becomes a lot easier to deal with with your 70 lb pitbull buddy. I only ever had two things that popped up. One was a chomo that my dog really didn't like being around and two was. He kept barking at that other dog that was on the other side of the door. You know the glass doors😂😂

my Lola is just the best. all black, she's my velcro shadow dog. and the shepherd backtalk is hilarious, mine is VERY opinionated 😂 but she'd die before she let something happen to one of my kids. especially my autistic toddler. I've never seen her flip out like the day he got out of it fenced in yard. he went outside when we had a skunk under the porch, and she had already been sprayed in the face by it and was seriously all set with that fart-squirrel, wouldn't go anywhere near that porch while it was still there. except the day my son went out there and she saw him, smelled the skunk. she ran outside, got between him and the deck and took another spray right to the face while he ran back inside, her yelping and wiping her face right behind him. she didn't even stop to think about it. best dog I've ever had, and she's still a puppy for the most part. really looking forward to the next decade with her ❤
