I grew up with a German Shepherd named Lizz who lived for over 14 years. She was the best of the best and the sweetest dog ever. All these many years later, and I still have a photo of her in my bedroom. I will always love and miss her.
I have four dogs and the youngest one is a German Shepherd boy. He was about six months old when I got him and he hasn’t grown a bit, except in length slightly… They grow up so fast and they don’t have that much time on the earth. Yet they try to have a full life…and since my wife passed away my dogs are the only thing keeping me alive especially that young German Shepherd dog. I hope I live long enough to be able to ease his passing and I know that sounds weird but it is the only thing keeping me alive right now after losing my best friend and wife.
Don't be ridiculous, liked I said before I'm petite and I had Rottweilers, I still miss my two girl's, but they had a wonderful life for over 15 year's, setting up their boundaries, IT'S A MAGIC WORD. ❤
I am so sorry for the passing of your wife. I know when I am in a very sad place, my cats keep me going. I live in an apt., or I would also have a dog. Keep loving your dogs. They will always be there for you. I am having a hard day today also. Some days are just really difficult.
When I was a kid of 15 (1966) I would go to my friends house and EVERYTIME I would would knock at the door, that was glass upper louvers on top and wood on bottom, the german shepard would run up and bark & salivate like it wanted to kill me!! I would actually jump back scared! The ONLY way I could enter this house is if the owners put the dog in a bedroom with the door closed! I love dogs, all animals, but this german shepard was scary as hell! Another close friend had germans shepards. The ONLY way I could enter the house is I wore a belt around my neck. Spent a night there only to have one of the females stradling me with her face in mine!!! As a child? How would I have coped? Though as an elder I have to say I love german shepards. Truly beutiful animals and family loyal!!!!
So my German shepherd blue healer mix is,was mostly German shepherd she acts or acted an awful like the German shepherds in this video! I wonder where she is right now? She disappeared on Nov 18 ,without narey trace! WHERE ARE YOU BROWNIE?!😢 Please come home!😢

I've had many breeds of dogs, and got a female GSD 2 years ago. I would not own another breed now!
