Are We Living in a Multiverse?
Are we living in a multiverse? If so, where are all the other universes? Scientists and philosophers have pondered these questions for centuries, as they contemplated the possibility of parallel universes. The multiverse theory is not often discussed by cosmologists, due to its speculative and untestable nature. However, there are a myriad of different interpretations depicting how a multiverse might manifest, some of which we may be detectable within our own universe. So buckle up, because in this video we will be leaving the galaxy entirely, as we take on the biggest question of them all- the question of whether our universe is the only one.

A Glimpse of the Sun [4K]
zhlédnutí 229KPřed 3 měsíci
The Sun... both the giver of life, and destroyer of worlds. Host of the eight planets, and incubator of Earth with its light and heat. Yet in spite of its brilliance, the true nature of the sun's power remains shrouded in mystery, with scientists unable to explain many of the processes playing out in its atmosphere. But in 2024, NASA will attain their closest glimpse of the sun so far, as they ...
The Voyage Beyond the Solar System [4K]
zhlédnutí 431KPřed 4 měsíci
Of all the spacecraft to have visited other worlds, there are two which have travelled further than any other, discovering more about the Solar System than their inventors ever could have imagined. They are the legendary pair of Voyager Probes; still the only spacecraft ever to have visited the Ice Giant planets, Uranus and Neptune. And the story of their 40 years in space makes up the topic of...
Journey to the Gas Giants [4K]
zhlédnutí 449KPřed 5 měsíci
Far beyond the reaches of the four rocky planets, we find our Solar System's showpiece worlds- the two gas giants, Jupiter and Saturn. As the two largest planets, both are tantalising targets for probes exploring the planetary neighbourhood. But both lie significantly farther from the sun than the Earth and its terrestrial neighbours. But in the early 1970s, the technology for deep space voyage...
Race to the Terrestrial Planets [4K]
zhlédnutí 307KPřed 6 měsíci
From studying the dusty surface of Mars, to plunging into the atmosphere of Venus, over the last 60 years, we've launched hundreds of probes into space on trajectories to visit each of the terrestrial planets. But for all the fascinating discoveries made on the way, humanity's journey towards the stars started out in a much darker place- a battlefront between the world's then two great competin...
Collisions of the Early Solar System [4K]
zhlédnutí 284KPřed 7 měsíci
How did Earth get its moon? Why is Mercury so close to the sun? Why does Uranus orbit on its side? And what makes Pluto unique among the other worlds? The answers to all of these questions are the many collisions that ravaged the early Solar System. Each of our neighbouring worlds bears scars which echo their violent past, from the many craters of the moon's battered surface, to the sideways ri...

Some say black holes lead to different points in space, others say there's another universe on the other side of a black hole, but legends have Friends on The Other Side.

What’s scary about the ideals of a curved universe, is that the universe is so massive, that you wouldn’t even know unless you continue all the way around.

Big bang is a theory. It is not known to be factual, but it's taught as truth. The objects in heaven are placed there for a reason and i dont know why. What i believe is Jesus put them there for Gods pleasure. Once we die the truth will be revealed.

35:45 The big rip? Many have dedicated themselves to theories and numbers as to what's out their, many also have dedicated themselves to believe in a creator. With his reasons for the way things are up there. The big rapture.

Have to say I find the big bounce to be the most intersting outcome. I also wonder if there are other universal singularities beyond our own. In that singularities would merge and any energy beyond our extreme radii would not be visable to us as it is to far for light to travel. Anyway for me I favour the big bounce as that would imply a critical mass where nothing from the outside is feeding the black hole so it would only work on itself. I mean we should really be calculating the behaviour of particles in confined spaces. Quantum mechanics must be wild.

i don't quite understand the movement speeds mentioned; movement in space can only be expressed in relation to something, meaning a car has speed x relative to the surface of the earth, the earth revolves around the sun, the solar system has a certain speed relative to the milky way etc. there is no absolute reference point in space, so i wonder, how do astronomers calculate those speeds? i mean, how do i know andromeda is moving towards the milky way, or the other way round, or possibly both are moving? how can this be distinguished?

Thank you, Nemesis❤! 😊This ride is going to be tough , but I am telling you, as long as you are letting us in your Sun's reports , I will enjoy every bit of this otherwise violent Sun's activity! Our Sun 🌞 proceeds very lavish and these energies are pitching holes trough the roof. I feel the heavy impact will melt down any technical resistance.Greetings from 🇧🇬, my dear Nemesis!

I'd piss if we're backwards in our perception of the universes expansion and it the mass that is shrinking lmao 🤣
