Hello folks, if you came to this channel looking for some fancy hi tlkn fella, well you’re at the wrong channel. But if You’re looking for normal folks living in the country raising a family and making ends meet well you might’ve stumbled on the right place. The Family and I ranch, have a small construction company. And I am a state legislator. The point of this channel is to encourage families throughout the world, and maybe even learn a few things together. In no way shape or form am I an expert on every subject I talk about. "The surge wave Leatherman" They should bring back the eyeglass screwdriver from the Gen 1. "There's an aftermarket adapter" Adapters get lost. I don't carry the bit kit because it's going to get lost. The whole point of having an available pocket clip is to be able to carry it without the sheath.

Man thank you for making these videos, im 30 just bought my own place and have no idea where to start, the drier hose was not connected all winter, -25 celsius days and the moisture was there until spring. Very helpful video thank you I hope my repair goes as smooth as this 🤣
It’s important to get some air in the crawlspace. It will help tremendously. Keep the door opened down there for sometime. If you can get some airflow going in and out that will help a lot depending on how rotten the floor is.

We strip the bark off the cedar (juniper) posts going into the ground because they’ll be more likely to rot if you don’t. Without the bark, they’ll last 100 years.
You must throw out that relic of a wire strainer and get a Fence Line Solutions or Hayes chain walking wire strainers. That’s what we use in Australia.
A family friend lost a son - he fell under the brush hog while riding on the tractor mudguard just like in your intro - after many years I think about it a lot- image how the father feels!!!

There is no grease irks, and the grease does not stay in there no matter how hard you try. It’s meant not to have grease in it, because you wanted to stay stationary when you pull wire off of it. If it had greased wheels when you pulled the Barbwire, it would pull the cart instead of pulling the Barbwire off the cart. Thanks for the advice though .

Wish Leatherman would make custom Surge's with tools to your specific liking. Kind of like how Buck Knives will make you a custom knife with different options of your choice. I would be worth the higher cost to have a multitool custom tailored to my specific needs.
In my experience, 3-1 oil always gummed up after a few days.

“Do not move the ancient landmark that your fathers have set.” The last time I helped with repairing barbed wire fence was in 1969. We used diamond willow posts because they resisted rot. We soaked other posts in bluestone (copper sulphate) . Thanks for making this video. God bless you!

I used an old wooden broom stick, cut it into 4 6 eight inch segments, and stuck them INSIDE the tube legs to raise it to the same height as my table saw. Seems much more secure than your PVC method.
Gotta say, it is almost impossible to actually receive the real, original product on amazon. Every seller seems to be selling fake chicom knockoffs. I bought one that showed all the original pics and claimed it was the original, but a POS was delivered.
