    Never had the honor of meeting you. Just through your videos. Long time follower. Doesn't take much to see you are good people. The kind of people we need more of in this world. Thank you for sharing. My wife and I sending good thoughts and prayers your way. I have had my own share of hard times recently. Sometimes I wonder why God is testing me so hard? But I know he has a plan for me. Prayers for you and family! Stand strong! Hang tough! :) Jim Gillespie Reno, NV.

    As Jim Emerson wrote, long time viewer. I believe I come upon your channel a couple years back when I was getting into fencing my self. After watching one or two videos I ended up watching them all. I've probably watched them all a couple more times since.
    But you were the first to openly speak about God on your channel and that struck my. I was like hey this guy is good salt of the earth. He's the kind of guy we use to have. He's got good family morals, good business morals, he's a godly man, etc.
    You can count on me for some prayers that what ever evil force is upon you goes away

    Spent many years building and patching fence for a living I've always used the loop to patch fence used a stretcher like that for patching and a 1 1/2 ton chain puller for building new since it will easily stretch a quarter or more easily at one pull

    The fence stretcher also doubles as a "temporary splice"! I've seen them on broken wires for years waiting to be relieved of duty. I think some ranchers buy them at auctions just for that purpose!
    I remember the last 4 words of the pledge of allegiance,"And Justice For ALL!" You sir were not allowed to have your justice!

  • @brennancogan7597
    @brennancogan7597 Před 2 lety +2

    A helpful tip: pre stretch your splice wire and it helps it stay tight. I take about 50 ft and tie it to two machines and pull until it breaks then I roll it up for repairs. Keeps the wire from being springy and hazardous as well 👍

    • @BacktotheBasics101
      @BacktotheBasics101  Před 2 lety +3

      Very true, I usually use used Barbwire for all my repairs because it’s already stretched. I go over this in one of my earlier videos but I should mention it every time I’m making repair. Thank you very much and good point
