Minecraft Railways Board

This is the official CZcams channel for the Minecraft Railways Board, of which I am the CEO - the company responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of various railway projects in Minecraft.
We started in late 2019 with the Great Minecraft Railway, which saw rapid change until halfway into 2020, after which upgrades were sporadic for a couple of years. Then we began a refurb programme at the end of 2023 (see the Track-Levelling Project playlist).
We began building a huge new rail network in Feb. 2020, which was in active use all the way until Oct. 2021, when the world file crashed. Nothing has taken place since on that world. I did a 2.5-hour journey video of the longest route on it, though.
In late 2021, we were commissioned by the Lilladian government to construct a rail network in their country, which hasn't seen much activity since the end of 2022.
From the end of 2022 onwards, the Freebuild railway has also been a thing (see the playlist).

Reskerton Viaduct (new project coming soon)
A new railway bridge will be built above Reskerton, lifting the track a few blocks above the height of where it is now. This will accomplish the GMRTLP's objective of levelling the track alignment as well as allow the removal of 3 level crossings within the town.
Construction will begin shortly, and should be completed by the end of the summer.

There's a couple of branch lines on the Great Minecraft Railway which are out of use and are to be removed next year when preparatory works for the resignalling are due to start. The UDM is an absolutely massive world as well, if you've seen the 2.5-hour cab ride on my old channel, and there are other lines on that world that were unfinished and never used. So yes, the potential is there!

It really annoys me when people don't read the description boxes, and then ask me questions that I've already answered in said description boxes - I put quite a lot of time and effort into gathering up and organising all the relevant information!

@@Droidtopiateam Delstat Metro use 4-coach EMUs for the hourly services. It was originally planned to be half-hourly, but demand and capacity constraints (the double track section over the Capital Bridge, and the single track between Milpham Valley and Rayfield) didn't make it feasible. Capacity is needed on this line because while the DM and some Regional trains leave the main line at Milpham Valley, there will be long-distance expresses going beyond (towards Saintsworth and Cranwich) in the future.

there is something so pure and amazing about these kinds of projects. I love rail networks in Minecraft and I hope you make more! Maybe you could add metro maps to help people get some idea of how the tracks are laid out? Also, congrats on your biggest video yet! A tip from someone who's been here before: don't obsess over it too much. When I got a bit of success on CZcams, I focused so hard on it that I forgot how to not be depressed, and I didn't even get the success I was chasing.
That won't be a problem for me - I'm not a content creator as such, I just post videos I feel like making and don't think about the reception or anything too much. The same goes for my level crossings channel too - literally everything I make online is for my own benefit and I couldn't really care much who watches them. Though I'm surprised that this video got so many views ngl

Life's not about the destination, it's about the journey :) Also, couple of corrections: the teleporters don't just go anywhere, the command blocks specifically go between each signal box (so that the rail movements can be controlled). Also, it took most of a year to make so a little bit more than a dozen hours 😂

Unfortunately this world is in pocket edition and Create is only for java... If they want to use the Create mod theyd have to make a new world because i don't think you can export worlds on your phone
Actually, I'm more than happy using plain vanilla Minecraft, mods won't really change anything in my opinion :)

I have a railway but most of the lines are completed
The MRB operates numerous projects. This route, the Great Minecraft Railway, was completed in November 2019. In case you've not read the GMRTLP info in the description, rebuilding works are taking place because standards have massively improved between now and then. There's the very large network in the UDM which had lots of expansion plans but the world file crashed in October 2021. Almost right away, the MRB began building a rail network in Lilladu, and while 10km of the backbone main line was built, not a lot's been done over there since 2022. At the end of 2022, the MRB also started building a "free-build railway", I.e. one which was just built without much prior planning. The Freebuild railway is technologically the most advanced project as yet, but since renewal works have begun in Hermitia (the GMRTLP), work on it has been paused.

7:27 right here you can see some of the saddest remains of a set of level crossings. these crossings are unknown for now. the only proof is this small stretch of road between the tracks. edit they are remains of tracks
There were never any level crossings on that short section - it was just a very diagonal section of track that was realigned around February 2020. Watch the original journey video (the link to which is in the description!) at around 11:08.
