I wonder if there’s also SE Asian or Taiwanese linguists tackling the subject of ‘Austronesian’. Maybe they can provide a more insider’s perspective on the matter, instead of European linguists looking at this from an outsider’s point of view.

    Why aboriginal language excluded?

  • @kilipaki87oritahiti

Well Melanesians/Papuans aren’t Pacific Islanders indeed, but they are neither Poly nor Austronesian genetically. They just adopted the language. The same ancestors, yet separated physically and mentally by colonialism, religious brainwash and politics. Southern China was never Han Chinese, but Austronesian. The Imerina of Madagascar came from Borneo, and were the 1st to settle it. The Naga people of East India are also our cousins. Same goes for Southern Viet (Cham), and Thai, who originally migrate from Taiwain (The “out of Taiwan theory” was recently debunked). In turn the aboriginal Taiwanese came from the northern Philippines. In fact the PI is the ground zero for Austronesian expansion into the rest of the Pacific, already proven by DNA (humans, animals and plants), linguistic and finally archaeological evidence. All Polynesians can trace their ancestry on their maternal side back to one single Igorot woman in the Philippines X thousands of years ago.

Aust 11:23 ronesians, were the first Asians on Taiwan, who displaced the original black inhabitants, that re still spoken of in folklore legend. , they interbreded to varying degrees, this union produced the prototypical Polynesian race, as the people on Taiwan were driven out by a more xenophobic pure Asian culture. Austronesian is the term applied by the Europeans to describe the culture which was erroneously based upon the language, which became problematic due to the flaws in the logic and reasoning. Austronesian would be best described as a language that became adopted by different cultures, different peoples and different races, very similar to what happened with the Roman empire, and how Latin gave birth to the romantic language of Europe . This displacement of people, gay pride to all of the cultures in the islands off of Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia. Philippines, Borneo, New Guinea, Australian, Melanesia, Micronesia, New Zealand. Depending on how much Asian DNA or Andamanees (Ausrtalasians) DNA these people may have, and what percentage, these things make up the bearing races, body types. Is the reason why most people share some of the same DNA, genetics,, varying degrees

Melanesians are not uncivilized or bad people. We are black, and we are happy and accepted who we are. Agriculture began on Melanesia and we domesticated animals. The cannibalism practice that was practiced on Melanesian islands are our rituals, to kill people, eat them and gain supernatural powers, adding superiority to our societies. Its a ritual that must be performed to keep our society strong and powerful.
