The Jake Origin Story: I grew up with glasses, 5.00 diopter high myopia, and yet today have 20/20 natural eyesight. No surgery, no glasses, I figured out how myopia actually works and how to reverse it (and no, not eye exercises!) The mainstream tells you it's impossible - but the whole concept that myopia is an illness, is complete unscientific nonsense (a 100 billion dollar a year profitable nonsense, though).

NAC eye drops.... this is what im trying to get a hold of. There is an issue with the lens hardening... it penatrates the layers of the lens and it can break down the disulfide bonds that cause the lens hardening. Theres not a great blood flow to the lens so you need a direct method. There was a recall but i feel like its been sorted out.

Hi Jake I firstly I would like to thank for your input and what you do in this channel it is amazing job, keep it up. Also, could you answer a question? Can I improve my eyes if I have eye asymmetry but my left eye is around healthy but a right eye is 0.7 and for more clarity I would add I get diagnosed with common myopic astigmatism(in right eye), also it look I got dry eye a bit. It would mean a lot for me if you will answer.

Important: Go to a new optic shop, don't bring your existing glasses / contacts. They'll always start with the diopters they know you've used and go up from there. Also relying on their measurement solely makes little sense. Have an eye chart, always cite your own measurement results for context.

I think I found active focus. On day 1 I tried to read my phone from a distance not too far just like the edge of the blur like everyone explained BUT it wasn't working no matter what I did it wasnt clearing up like my eyes weren't adjusting at all I kept praying to God to help me with this since it was just frustrating, after like a week I found a youtuber with the name of "Myopia is mental" he explained how to relax your eyes like by his methods which was "Rocking" like you move your body side to side and look at something while not focusing onto it and being aware of your sorrounding thats when i got clear flashes and weird feeling in my eyes, I then tried to do the "Active focus" on a text and it was finally clearing up ofc at a distance not too far since it's just the beginning for me. I realized the most important thing for active focus to trigger is relaxation of eye muscles, without it it wasn't working for me. It feels nice doing the "print pulling" or "print pushing"method now. Also thank you for your explanations it's just amazing to know people like you exist, I watched tons of your videos it's just motivating to watch where you like have people brought up sharing there stories.

Hello! Need your advice please I have -3.25 in my left eye and -3.50 in the other. I got glasses with 1.00 prescription in both eyes to use while on the phone/laptop. My issue is that I can see nearby objects very clearly while wearing them. How am I I supposed to active focus while using laptop, If I can read text without any issues even from around 3 feet away. Even when I keep the screen more than 3 feet away, the text isn’t really blur per se,It’s just really small. I don’t know if I’m explaining this really well.(The text is small but clear.) Also it is not possible to keep the screen more than 3 - 4 feet away due to physical restrictions. The only time I can active focus is when I’m not wearing glasses. Should I completely stop wearing glasses then ?

What do you think I should do if I’m forced to wear glasses full time because it’s a different kind of glasses that slow down my eyes? I stopped wearing my glasses full time because I realized I didn’t need them but my eyes got worse 2 years later a bit barely any difference and now the optometrists said I have to wear glasses full time or else my eyes are going to get worse. I don’t wear my glasses for close up but in my daily life I’m usually on my laptop for work a lot Also I started to do active focusing a bit. And i don’t want to wear them full time, but if my eyes are going to continue progressing and getting worse than that’s a worry for me they also said my eye is like a shape of an oval

I’ve been prescribed with special glasses and now I have to wear them full time and the optometrists keep saying how I have to wear them for close up things and I said it strains my eyes though and I don’t need them for close up things. I was -3.00 in 2022 then left eye got worse in 2024 and it’s -3.05

Does it work for those wearing contact lenses? Reducing the power of the prescription, practicing active focus, etc. I’m wondering because everyone here talks about glasses. Does it matter?

Presbyopia refers to the lack of visual accommodation with age. That does not necessarily mean needing reading glasses. I got progressives at age 50, because my distance prescription was too powerful for me to focus up close. The progressives help a little for intermediate distances, like reading the dashboard while driving. But it is easier just to take my glasses off to read, eliminating the distance correction. In fact, many nearsighted people like me will never need reading glasses.

True. And also in general most people would never actually need reading glasses. In fact reading glasses are counter productive to keeping that lens flexible.

@@endmyopia Are progressive lenses similarly counterproductive? A number of years ago, my accommodation got bad enough that I needed them to see closer objects with my glasses. But my cataract surgeon (last month) told me that my accommodation was completely gone, so I had him replace my cloudy lenses with artificial lenses that focus up close. I use glasses for distance (over 18 inches).
