I am far from ideal and wear swimbriefs. Others ' preconceived notions (or outright prejudices) will not determine my look or reduce my comfort.

I wear a very shiny satin white 1 row button jacket. Usually with a black shirt with a silver necklace with a rather large pendant. Helps to keep the feel casual while looking exceptional.

As someone who can shave with both it is easier to shave with a safety razor and has near no maintenance and the straight razor has no real advantage other than it can be cheaper in the extreme long term if you never replace your razor. Now disposable and cartridge razors are absolutely horrible and feel like they rip out every 5th hair on your face.

Some people take this dressing thing a bit too serious, give it too much attention and end up in neglecting more important qualities a man should have.

The continental method? i grew up in the United states and that is the only way to eat. Switching is hands is considered poor manners. The American method seems more like a legitimization of what would be traditionally considered wrong. Haven't we destroyed the language enough, must we also remove Etiquette too? Funny... In my past i was sent to Europe to work, out of perhaps 25 other colleagues i was the only one offered to stay on the continent and I obliged. That decision has allowed me to be able to sit here and "waste time" commenting on this video. I ended up staying in Europe for nearly a decade and will always keep a residence there. At a business lunch i was told why i was asked to stay and promoted. The reason was my outward respect for culture and my table manners was brought up as an example. The other Americans basically ate with their hands, talked with their mouths full and held a knife and fork like they were grabbing a bicycle handlebar. This is noticed there but not in the USA. Basically the USA is a bit more lowbrow as most Americans find these points of etiquette superfluous if not impractical. Some see it as a sign of focusing on what is not important. I see the US as hyper-practical and as a result lacking in culture.

when I want to wear a hat, I wear a hat. when I don't want to wear a hat, I don't. being a gentleman is more about being gentle and meekly polite, authentically, more than it is about following rule for dress that aren't always practical. I hope this didn't seem mean or bitter.
