this is what I do. I have a pretty respectable sd collection spanning the og bb's like this one here all the way through to the new mgsd's my favorites are the BB's between 245 and 402 and I do a very serious job on them but I still suck at sanding these little guys. I just did the maxter og bb and it broke me. but his double barrel weapon fires hard ;) gotta love them og's

I build this kit as a kid in the early 1970's and i loved it. It's a very simplified kit. There are some mistakes in that kit. It lacks the rear stowage bins left and right from the exhaustpipes, it lacks the circular large door in the back of the turret, and it lacks the engeneer tools every german tank carries. But it is a nice kit. I hope your glueing technique has improoved since that video becaus it looks gruesome. Why using super glue when there a a lot of way better modelling cements on the market. And last the positioning of the german crosses on the instruction is completly wrong. The front boxart shows the nearly correct position, some reference pictures would help. I have the 189 Clear Smooth and I was wondering if I could use this to paint over decals to seal them in on my model without ruining them? I hate using varnish as it fogs the glazing.

A good advice! If you planning to use the same resin then just leave it in the printer and cover it with a big empty box 📦 from lights. You can leave out for years without during it back in the bottle. Of course only if the print didn't failed and big pieces can be inside

I don’t have a pipe cleaner it didn’t come with one what do I do now??? Can I use a normal pipe cleaner like for craft or do I have to buy them and wait for 2 days

It's a pain that there are certain colors like salmon pink that are available here, but not in the lacquer line. Pretty annoying when you want to follow the color guides on newer gundam kits.

What happened with the hair? Looks like you used the strands that were supposed to be her ponytail as the bangs instead. Her bangs are massive and thats why the goggles don’t fit properly like on the original figure.

If you use 3m spray paint gun cleaner if available in your part of the world. in areosol form after ever use before putting away to rest it, it will almost never clog again.. No matter the type of paint you spray. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

You've almost got me keen on gutting the first Aliexpress airbrush I got that never worked. That one was a Hseng-type so maybe getting interchangeable spares might be easier

I've got a 20+ year old kit from Ral Partha called Dragon Scale, I think. It's just metallic makeup in pans. It's pretty hard now, but I just tried it and it looks great, and very easy to use. Somewhere I have a bunch of children's makeup kits that were abandoned in a storage unit, I'm looking forward to trying them out.

Should one can of this size be enough to prine a full hg kit? I used a while can of mr surfacer and only had about 2/3 done if that was it me or do these size cans not go that far?

Thanks for the video. I bought two of these kits many years ago. Like many have said in the comments, these are intimidating kits and I have purposely left them until my building and airbrushing skills improve. I finally fell my skills are developed enough so I hope to get to them in the next year or two. BTW, the source material is a vertical shooter by the well-known developer Treasure. While it was originally released in arcades in the early 2000s, it has been made available over the years on various consoles including both Switch and PS4. It is a very famous game amongst shooter/shmup fans and is well worth checking out.
