1/6 Belldandy Volks Aa Megami Thai Recast anime GK

Volks 1/6 Aa-Megami Sama Belldandy Holy Bell ベルダンヂィ from Anime Oh My Goddess! vintage resin garage model kit. This is Thai Recast or resin model kits and figures from Thailand and Korea. Super cheap copy of more popular English and Japanese sculpts commonly found on Ebay around 2000's and 2010. Normally avoided by GK community for poor quality and air bubble issues.
This video will demonstrate the assembly review plus introduction to cartoon anime GK figures. My process includes release agent clean down and surface preparation, priming and painting via airbrush. Removal of cast spurs, brass pinning, gluing, masking and other scale modeling methods, tips and tricks. Plus use of plastic flat back plastic gems as head lights.

I am impressed how well she "stands" with such a pose, I would expect her to be falling over if you looked at her wrong. Fantastic paint job as always.

balance is not great and reference has her on larger bases. Looking back kinda wish I bore a hole and filled it with metal or something. She stands but slight force shake or anything. Its a face plant and some hair necklace snaps. Thanks man glad you liked the video.

I’m currently painting my 3rd resin kit with an airbrush and spray booth so far I’m not doing a bad job but I will continue to improve my skills as I continue this hobby. Mine is a Volks Five Star Stories Mechanical Moving Engage Octaver SR3 My first posable resin kit. . The first two weren’t my best attempts at a garage kit. One of them was a recast from E2046 the Five Star Stories Empress Flame from Work Shop Cast and the Other one was another original Volks kit from the Super Robot Wars Series Wild Wurger. Both of them were fixed posed.

When washing resin, I always scrub the nooks but always forget the crannies.

If you cast a push mold of the crannies they become nooks.
