Consider your antialiasing settings, higher AA causes fit issues with mechanical parts.
The reason for this is that the "fuzziness" used to smoothen print lines during printing also change the tolerances.
I use the exact same printer and have experienced this. The surface of your print looks like something I've experienced before.
You are correct, normally drafting parts for assembly to mechanical or tight fit is around .2 to .5mmm injection molding is way tighter and can over come this as mentioned via slight scaling adjustment. Of course material is a factor. With the surface I am pretty sure I mist or split some alcohol in my resin tank. Did not take much to sand off but a complete pain. Thanks for chiming in man.
Just to clarify, I'm printing a 1/60 scale with the same file. It is the exact same parts as the HG
Quick glance yes but there are very small pitch and edge differences from the polly and mesh converting. Im talking about differences so small and minor you cant see it yet it will not work in a mold or for injection molding. As its not on a runner it cant be the same as HG but 100% looks like it. I recommend watching the video on the metaverse leak.
if you print it 35 times larger you get a 1/1 model
