DC films have a history of making poor decisions which goes back pretty far. For every good decision made there are at least 3 bad ones to counteract it. I wasn't the biggest fan of Batman Returns but you can't tell me that Burton didn't learn from it and would have made a better third film. What Schumacher made was not only trash but what he did also turned the comic book movie genre as a whole into mostly a joke until the MCU course corrected it.

I disagree that Venom looking different in this film is a bad thing, he's honestly designed in the best way that would fit in a raimi spider man film, the problem is that he had was rushed entirely at the end and practically had no character development and screen time.

Interesting. After seeing The Empire Strikes Back I felt in the third movie Luke would be the one to dramatically die only to have Leia rise to take his place to complete the mission. Thus, "the other" and "Revenge". After seeing "Return of the Jedi" I thought, well, that's why I'm not writing screenplays. Maybe I wasn't so far off after all.

I was not aware that License to Kill was the lowest grossing Bond film. I thought it was an outstanding film. Very unfortunate that Cubby wouldn't meet Dalton half-way and at least do one more film.

Apparently they recorded the entire movie with his voice. I’d love if they’d release a version of his recorded voice in full, just so we can have a chance to watch it all, instead of clips they released.

Overall, I think Lucas' sequel trilogy would've been more interesting. I love the idea of Maul becoming a much larger figure than he already was. Going that route sounds like a more natural progression.

Rogue One is a rip off of Dark Forces.

There's this very minor scene in Empire Strikes Back that felt very unnecessary to change. It's when Luke falls into the pit after he failed to bring him over, and he's getting ready to leave. In the 1980 version, he says "Bring my shuttle" and the vitriol in his voice said so much. It's a case of less being more. Special edition he says "Alert my star destroyer to prepare for my arrival" in his normal tone. If it was any other scene, this wouldn't really be a problem, but the context prior I feel makes this a worse change, despite being so minor.

The writing of Solo was digging back to Han Solo's "YOUNG" days. So, there is no way to find a 'YOUNG' Harrison Ford. The later movies had an Older Han Solo. I appreciated the difference attempted. Sorry if I'm being lame🐻

I don’t really consider the senate scenes boring in the prequels. There’s a lot of condemnation of eps 1-3 out there , and some aspects could’ve been better sure. But it’s a riveting story and if you don’t mind some politics ( I don’t) very interesting and well constructed

They shouldn’t of bothered to make a TV show. They should’ve adapted it with John Wick 4 having that woman from kill Bill standing there with John Wick at the end of the movie like they’re ready to fight then cliffhanger.!
