So had an F-type with a supercharger before this and what I miss is the low end torque. Have to drive it like I stole it for it to give me what I want.

Thanks for posting this video. I am seeing this issue with my Porsche Cayenne Hybrid 2011 on the driver side door. It looks very bad from outside also. Don't wat to spend a fortune fixing it .

did the swap but for some weird reason when i switch off ignition i get 1 horn honk.

The 911 is very good in the winter because it has a lot of weight at the real wheels which makes it almost as good as AWD when it comes to grip on snow and ice. But you must know how to handle it ;)

The Author of this video has shown, in other videos, that he's a pretty decent shade tree mechanic. I chuckled at some of the inspection items (check that the horn works!?!), as they are items that if you drive the car, you'd notice being off kilter immediately. The hood issue is another question, but again I think this Author could have done that too. I have a 2002 996 Turbo that I got new at the factory in Zuffenhausen. Currently has about 80,000 miles on it. Only serious issue was that I had to have the clutch replaced, about $12K, but while the engine was out, I had the dealer install not just a clutch disk, but also a new flywheel, throwout bearing and pressure plate. I would have done that myself too except I don't have the facilities to get the car high enough to drop the engine and transmission out the bottom. Otherwise, the car has never been back to the local dealer once in 22 years. Oil change, cabin filter and air cleaner changes, etc., are child's play with a little patience and there are numerous CZcams videos to help you out on almost anything. I'll admit I've built race cars and a Bonneville streamliner, so I probably have a little more knowledge than the average Joe or Jane, but really it isn't rocket science and with a decent set of hand tools and some patience almost anybody can keep a Porsche running barring something major. I replaced the plastic coolant tubes on a Cayenne we had, and that job was more serious, probably a bit too much for somebody not pretty good. FWIF, the Cayenne was basically a piece of junk.

I see, TINTED Front side windows ... What state is this car living in .. ? (If those front side-window AREN'T Tinted ... the car looks like shot ... as in Shit) And a REAR WIPER ... Hooray ... I was shocked to see later model 911's without a rear-wiper ... SHOCKED !

On CZcams, I have Seen Many Many porsches ... and this is the 1st one that has a 'REAR Wiper' ... Why do the newer ones NOT Have a rear wiper ... WHY ?

Nope. Scathed is what you got (at least from my perspective). You have THEE perfect garage for that project. Complete with a perfect lift that would bring it up to waste height so you wouldn’t even have to bend over! You, sir, have a beautiful set up!

I’m being charged £420 to paint my 981 gloss black as it’s similar colour to your 911 but it has faded over time, still considering yellow which i like but not period correct.

The calipers came out great and really look great with the yellow decal and other yellow accents on your porsche. As a fellow porsche owner with PCCBs I give you my permission to keep them 🤣
