Very thorough and straightforward presentation! It is bemusing to hear the current boffins rediscover what was common knowledge in the '60s, for example, the café gas tanks had indentations at the front to accommodate clipons. In jolly England we referred to your strange "triple tree" as the fork yoke. A final point re ace bars of which you showed a brief image. In England these are still available with the U bracket in different lengths, so that the rider could choose his degree of forward bias. Finally, most of the images of the ace bar show an incorrect weld: the stubs should NOT be welded onto the ends of the U, but at least an inch back from the end. It's a matter of strength. Rule Britannia!
... Turn the lever?

Thank you so much for posting this video, I just used a similar system for adjusting my 1982 Honda Xl 250r rear brake, it now stops like a nun walking into a brothel.
I just bought the honda vario 160cbs in my 17s happiest day of my life
Thanks a bunch. That was very helpful for me to fix my Qlink Ranger. These days, I now fix my bike myself saving up to 90% cost on visiting a mechanic.
super helpful

That thing is baller, and the name... perfection. I'd ride it to and through the end of the world.
They are also heavy asf
link to part 2?
Are these to big for a beginner bike?
Have another adjustment to make so that the brake light activates on mine. My pedal was hanging really low, adjusted it so it was more level with the peg and the brake light stopped working, luckily there was another adjuster 😎
Very useful info. Glad I stumbled upon this vid before I went mucking around with what I thought I needed for a swap out ✌🏼
Bros voice is literally butter smooth
Finally a good explanation thanks!!!
What about the front ;-; same applies?
Your supposed to set points prior to ignition timing, If you need to move the points to get it timed correctly, the points were t correct.
Y'know that little tooth that pokes out of the kickstand? It's the part your fit steps on to lower it ... What's that part called?
Last thing is the brake switch The point where the light comes on
I have a yamaha 2003 don't know what kind of engine but I do know is that there is 11,000 miles and its practically still good condition what would need to be changed/maintenance?
Bro what happened to you?! You’re a great teacher
Little note some bikes have a very strong spring as the return mechanism usually located behind the rear brake pedal. If it goes missing or snaps off the first thing you'll notice is the rear brake pedal will feel spongy as the spring on the adjuster at the end of the bar will be acting as a sort of return but will not be as effective although you should still have a braking effect.
I can't watch this, the editing is so annoying
Can you change the plan online brake drums
Great vid
Excellent
This is great thanks
this is what ive lookin for
Thank you!!! I am new to bikes and have my 1st. I changed the rear breaks and adjusted the bolt on the spring to no avail. You’re video helped me fix it.
omgawd . i know i did all these tasks (just bled hydraulic clutch/brake after watching a reminder video) about 35 years ago ... regularly . but it's been sooo long . thank you so much for this!
I dropped my chain twice on my Suzuki GSX 1100, it simply pulled it apart...apparently it's somehow able to pull it apart. Since then I've always riveted my chains, never had that problem since. Works fine with a clip for smaller bikes; for bigger ones - forget it!
9 Years old n still a Great video 👍
Promo sm 🙏
Sir, this is a great video, thanks
Thank you so much for doing these vids
Watching this so i know what the hell my bf is talking about when he talks about his bike😭
Honda ca 160 Dream 1969
Width is more important than height. If you can’t turn lock to lock comfortably you’re f*cked.
Suzuki GZ 250. Still miss that bike.
Good choice. I think I rode that during my MSF course.
Liar, if this is made out of Real Gold Karat gold , then I believe you. This Bike is Fake I doubt it's even worth $1.00
It's true! Google it 😜
That bikes uglier then a ZX14😂😂 definitely not worth its price
Ben I think you're right about that!
@@RiderForge 😅😅 I mean if we being honest most people get bikes that look nice and are reliable due to what it’s worth, don’t think this company is making any true money from selling these bikes cuz they don’t look good and may be worth far more then the reliability
@@bdotty2320 you're right. It seems more like some kind of experiment or maybe a single rich guy's attempt to sell his idea.
Fuck no it ain't worth that price
Tell 'em Terry.
@@RiderForge I would never pay that for a bike yeah it looks cool but you can literally mod 10k bike and make it look 1000x better then that bland ass pos
95 million of those sold went to India.
You're not wrong Tom.
Wow, I never new the book existed
Does it come with pussy 🧲?
Unless it's got a hole in the seat that sucks you off going down the road then no not at all.
