      Yep but he did win the Russian championship 5 times - which maybe should have given him the GM title. Also he did have some good results vs Tal and Spassky. Tal at this peak.

    It's kind of funny. You show this great attacking game. But you criticize the winner, 4 separate times for playing dubious moves.

      Yes I am trying to provide objective analysis to the games. Of course it is great if the game is accurate and one way, but in reality mistakes are often made by both sides. I feel that objective analysis helps my own game and other's improve more, rather than being biased in analysis to the winner.

Wiki incorrectly it seems indicates: "He achieved a positive score in the 20 games he contested against World Champions" - Wiki seems incorrect if you make use of Chessgames.com stats. Boris Spassky beat Rashid Nezhmetdinov 3 to 2, with 1 draw. Classical games: Rashid Nezhmetdinov beat Mikhail Tal 3 to 1. Classical games: Tigran Petrosian beat Rashid Nezhmetdinov 3 to 0, with 2 draws. Classical games: Mikhail Botvinnik tied Rashid Nezhmetdinov 0 to 0, with 1 draw.
