    Another note: so much debate about how to fix dysregulated hormonal and enzymatic situation with allulose, not a single word about fixing the primary issue - the behaviour that led to NAFLD and similar metabolic problems: eat better and move more. When you have GLP1 up and you eat less (of everything), you might enter a starvation mode, and that doesn't favour physical activity beyond necessary. You start breaking down your muscle tissue, the exact opposite you need when you want to have a healthy metabolism and keep excess fat deposits away. Exercise improves brain health also and helps to delay the onset of dementia, too. You guys are getting lost in the fine details, losing the greater picture here. Get back to basics, do what our ancestors did before we got this global issue of obesity and inactivity.

    Coming a bit late to the bandwagon, seeing this promoted just recently by other youtuber, aiming to replace ALL fructose in people's diet, regardless of how much sugar they tend to eat... It all looks like bells and whistles until you encounter some unforeseen adverse effect. In what amounts does allulose appear in nature and in our diet in natural form? Not much. And that might be a hint. I use xylitol in some of my fruit teas. Just a little or I have digestive issues. The same for allulose. Just new kid on the block that will wane off like any other before. The best strategy is to switch to fruits in their natural form for a sugar fix. A small bowl of fresh strawberries with a natural Greek yogurt on top (full fat one) and no cheese cake can beat it.

    I have Type 2 diabetes. And had two severe bouts of neuropathy on my left leg and feet. So severe that the pain caused me to stop walking and I had to take painkillers to be able to sleep. I was taking Rosuvastatin drug or other statin drugs on and off for about four years. So, I heard that statin drugs can cause or make worse neuropathy. So, I stopped taking the Rosuvastatin pill and the agonizing neuropathy pain on my left leg subsided after about 13 days. And I was able to walk unhindered by pain. Although, I still have residual numbness on my left foot and a tiny amount of numbness on my right foot. Now, I am able to go for long walks and climb stairs at the park which has 85 steps.

    I suspect that unless we demand clean air, food and water, our chronic diseases will persist, not that food choices dont help, but it is so hard to avoid the chemicals that are sprayed all over everything, and just for profit! A certain political party has deregulated protections, made bribery "free speech", and outlawed natural, bilogically sound, God given remedies.     I listened with great interest because I have this question for years. I don't have diabetes but I have the opposite my blood sugar crashes. I over produce insulin, I have yet found anyone that addresses this issue and what to do. Most times I am able to control it but there are times when I get into an impossible situation. My sugar drops so low it takes all my energy to just breathe. Where can I find help?

    I am a bit confused..I know Dr. Perlmutter says to eat a very low carb diet (currently reading his book grain brain). Is this himalayan tart.buckwheat keto friendly? I know normal buckwheat is relatively high carb. Better than wheat etc I am sure..also in the seed..not grain category..but keto friendly..no. Is HTB different? I will research this more now.

      Just been on the big bold health website. 25 US dollars a 2lb bag. Wow. Also in a 42g serving..31g of it is carbs. That is a lot. On both counts! I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. Will stick to foraging wild seed foods like plantain seed heads (really nice by the way..kind of mushroomy the ribwort plantain is. And free).

    This is so interesting and whilst I knew a lot of this information, there is so much more that I am learning. My professor at University here in NZ drank it in front of us in the lecture theatre. He said that it was totally safe for us humans. Needless to say he died young. I have IBS, Ulcerative Colitis, gluten intolerance, diary intolerance, diverticula disease, chronic fatigue which I'm managing successfully. Not to mention that all three of my children have immune conditions and one with PCOS

    Yes - I got neuropathy from covid - my legs r numb and tingling from knee to ankle - 2yrs. I'm disgusted w what this bio weapon did too me. Dr Fauci needs to be in prison . He is responsible for hurting me.

    Casey and Calle Means are really a gift for this generation who are experiencing diseases that were never seen before except in the aging population . Kelly Clarkson just did an interview with Olivia Munn today discussing her breast cancer and her bout with Post Partum Anxiety which are metabolic diseases. After the interview she promoted a soda called Poppi which is a flavored soda that contains sugar. She is an investor in the company and went on the Kelly Clarkson show to promote this flavored soda drink. If Oliva Munn is still drinking soda after her bout with Breast Cancer then we really need to sound the alarm about sugar and the dangers to our health.

    The comment about walking 8k to 12k steps daily..... To reduce chances of brain issues seems to me is more a correlation than causation. These same people probably try to sleep better, don't eat crap, limit carbs, maybe even have a great family life. Get my point,?

    There isn't another living thing on the planet that questions what it should eat. Even tiny bacteria, amoebas, insects and plants know exactly what to consume to live.

    I want to see thorough studies on nutritional value of GMOs. How much metals like manganese, magnesium, zinc, potassium do they contain as compared to conventional crops? What is their vitamin value? How much formaldehyde do they contain?

    You don't have blood sugar and many other problems if you go down the Carnivore route. No seed oils,grains,carbs,fruit,veg. Stick to MEDS meat,eggs, diary,sea food.
