I have been applying to accouinting graduate jobs. I am not sure to work in a trainee accountant job that allows me to work in diverse accounting roles such as tax and audit. Or to just specialize in one field in accounting. For example I'm applying for Audit at the big 4 as a graduate trainee that offers ACA qualification. My main goal is to become a chartered accountant

The Racial Employment Reality of Scotland I am a mixed race person I have moved to Scotland three months ago to find out Scottish people are very racist in terms of Employing anyone who are not White Scottish. Again in Scotland they do not employ anyone who are not White and Scottish. I've had jobs interviews and as soon as the Scottish companies see the colour of my skin, they don't hire me. Moreover, there are No black players in the National Scottish Football Team and every single company, shops, supermarkets, bus drivers, train staff in Scotland are all White and Scottish. Racially speaking every company operating in Scotland put on the job application form. We are committed to Equality and Diversity. Warning this one the most perfect example people from Scotland can be dishonest and manipulative. They use false statements that are Not truth to their beliefs. Even Germany where once was ruled by Adolf Hitler is a million times more diverse than Scotland. The truth is. In Scotland they are Not committed Equality and Diversity but are too embarrassed to admit it ! Scotland should change its country name to the White Country to suit what they stand for their own White Supremacy mentality. The English employment market from a racial point of view is the most open, whereas the Scottish, Northern Irish Welsh I highly recommend anyone who are non-white to be careful because racial discrimination.

Becoming a CFO of a company is harder than becoming a partner at the big 4. There's only one CFO for each company, whereas the big 4 has multiple partners - still very hard though, less than 0.5% of Deloitte's 500000+ employees are partners.

Move up North, it's more affordable to rent a house or apartment

I live in the north east of England and our transport here in (probably) the northern-most big English city is shocking…I am watching London travel videos so I can give it a real chance since I’ve never really enjoyed it, I feel much more at home in Scotland even though I’m English - Glasgow just feels like a bigger version of my own city. Only been to London for a short periods each time. I want to see why people outside of England/UK think so highly of it! I’m not opposed to major capital cities, I love Edinburgh and Paris. My favourite thing about many major cities very much including London is the tube/metro since our metro line is so useless yet ever increasing in price that it’s actually so depressing.

There is something I know about Thailand, they have some beautiful women.

Well, I learned a few more things about Thailand and that is great. I'm moving there in 2 weeks. Bangkok will be my place of abode until something better comes up. I agree I would not go to Pattaya for a living but many expats like that. To each his own I guess. There is no perfect place, but Thailand comes very very close.
