This Shed build took longer than I thought
Over the past 2 years, I have suffered delays, labour shortages and price increases.
Fortunately, I can announce that my shed has been completed and I can now move on from any major constructions on my property and focus on the next chapter in life.
If you would like to support the channel, please consider purchasing using these Amazon affiliate links.
My Equipment:
Rodecaster Pro II - amzn.to/3WO8U6n
Black Magic ATEM Mini Pro ISO - amzn.to/3ymmTYC
During the construction of this project, my best friend Raiden passed away.
This was the main reason this project took so long, losing Raiden was one of the most difficult things I have ever been through.
He was my support animal and to this day, I still feel guilt that I took him for granted. I thought we would have had more time together.
I was so focused on the construction and completion of my property, that I lost valuable time I could have spent with him.
I had to take a few months off to process this loss and I still find it difficult to discuss.
This cat made me a better person, he helped me learn compassion and patience. He was there through many losses in the family and I didn't comprehend how much I needed him until he was gone.
If anyone reading this has also suffered a loss recently, I hope you may find comfort in knowing that one day, we will all be together again.
Rest in peace, my sweet boy.
This video is for my best mate, Raiden.

Nice space, I think usually people put tapes on the floor to mark where the tripod legs are for the cameras once you dialed in the settings, so you can quickly position it back if its been accidentally move by a guest or others, save a bunch of time, and tape on top of the wires so no one accidentally trip and break any expensive equipment.
This is the one I've been waiting for! 80 square metre is massive, I can't even imagine the cost. As usual, the finish is exquisite (well done on the paint job). I would kill for that sort of space. As a video idea, it would be interesting to see a breakdown of the material and labour costs for anyone looking to embark on a similar project.

Wow. Thanks man, all the way from Germany. 🇩🇪 I really appreciate that. I’ll be doing some more TV reviews soon. Thanks for your support.
Really enjoy your videos, any plans on trying out and reviewing massage chairs, or they not worth the money in your opinion?
Hey Matthew, what kind of massage chairs? I pretty much have to purchase anything that goes on the channel so depends on how expensive they are.
@@ILT_AU TVs are a big investment, especially high-end ones, and your content really helps inform and educate regular folks like myself. Similarly, a good quality massage chair is also a significant investment. They are pricey, large, and heavy, which means they take up valuable space and are difficult to relocate once set up. Plus, they’re supposed to last a long time. Just looking to get some unbiased information into the different massage chair brands and price range here in Australia, so I'm wondering whether you have plans to introduce a massage chair to your home any time soon, hence trying and comparing them. Or, do you have any previous experience with them that you could share?
Nifty little device. Hopefully, they sort out the software bugs. I am loving the new video release cadence 👌👌
Thanks Ivan! Yeah man I’m making an effort to keep regular content coming. Thanks for your support. BTW Ivan, where ru located in Aus?

Could it possibly have been the transfer box for the LEDs you installed? The artefacts and image dropouts are the same thing I had when I had LEDs installed on the back of my TV. Turned out it was the 4K HDMI transfer box that all my devices were being channelled through.
Hey. Very good question/observation. I doubt it’s the LED strip light on the rear of the TV as I have them on others and a lot of people do without issue. The TVs one connect box was in the cabinet underneath the display. All the other devices like the sync box and receive were a decent distance apart. So unfortunately that was not it.
Should I get the u63 or u64
Never had hands on with the U64 so I can’t tell you. I was happy with the U63 if you can get it on sale.
Apparently the one connect box is notoriously poor and the cause of many issues. I've got a QN90B and it's fantastic, but i've heard of many people having issues with samsung support. Fingers crossed lol.
Yeah I thought I’d love the one connect box but it’s just another box in addition to the TV. I wouldn’t choose it again if it were an option.
Absolutely crazy a TV of that price and calibre had such poor quality. I am glad that you got sorted and I totally understand why you would be skeptical about buying another Samsung. If you didn't tell me this video was off the cuff, I wouldn't have known. Excellent insight. Did you find plenty of 8k content to watch or was it mostly 4k content upscaled to 8k? Was it a significant jump in image quality?
Hey Mr.Ivan! It blew my mind that a TV this high-end, failed. Thanks for the feedback as always. I never found any 8K content to enjoy. The box on the PlayStation 5 said 8K, but that was a lie. I found a few Samsung exclusive 8K demos but only using their internal app. Very bad support for 8K. Wouldn’t recommend the jump to 8K. Wouldn’t recommend a 8K Neo-QLED either, it uses so much energy, generates a lot of heat, very heavy to move. My G4 OLED is so much better. Lesson learned.
@@ILT_AU That's really good insight. I have been toying with the idea of making the jump but I'll hold off for now. Do you have any QD-OLEDs or are you still on the fence about it? I bought a Sony A95K about a year ago and I think it is really good even compared to my Sony A80J regular OLED.
I just purchased the LG G4 and I’m very happy with it I have had Sony’s, Samsung’s and LG’s. Out of all of them LG always has the best HDMI CEC implementation. If you have multiple devices like soundbars. receivers. External boxes/consoles. I’d always recommend a LG. I just purchased an 86” LG, cheap, big and nasty for my shed. I’m very happy. No QD-OLEDs for now
@@ILT_AU I'll take a G4 long term review. Lol
Here I am saving up to buy the Samsung CU8000, and then I watch this video, lol. If their $10,000 8K flagship TV has issues, then what will their entry-level model be like. My LG C6 has stopped working after 7 years so need a new TV.
What’s your budget? Look I could just be very very unlucky, but the way it dragged out for months really killed my love for Samsung.
@@ILT_AU I live in Fiji so I'd say around $2,000. The 43" CU8000 costs $1,200 and the 50" is $1,899. It does come with a 2 year warranty. I imported the 55" LG C6 from Australia back in 2017. It was the best TV I ever had.
@ILT_AU I live in Fiji, so the 43" CU8000 is all I can afford for now as it's within my budget. It's only $1,299. I've had a Samsung TV before, and it lasted 2 years until the LED backlights died and needed to be replaced. That was kind of my fault as I used to watch content using the dynamic picture mode with max brightness. I'm sure with movie mode, it'll last longer.

Serious question, did you win the lotto or does your job pay really well? Your whole setup is amazing. Honestly, I'd watch videos of you lighting candles in your house.
That’s hilarious. No I didn’t win the lotto, I have a well paying job and over the years made some smart decisions with that money. I’m certainly not rich, but I wouldn’t cry poor. Thanks man, I often try to make my videos very chill. I’m going to try a few different things now but I always want to do some quality videos in the mix.
I do enjoy videos about TV and home theater reviews. That's how I found your channel back in 2021. I was searching for videos about the Australian model of a Hisense TV, and you were the only one who made one. There are hardly any CZcams channels from Australia and New Zealand that do reviews for TVs and home theater.
That’s great feedback, thank you. Yeah I definitely intend to review Australian exclusive TVs. The big name brands, no point. USA gets them months before us and by the time we do, there is already a million reviews. So definitely will have more AU TVs. The major issue is I have to buy everything and it gets expensive, fast. Great feedback, thanks so much for the message.
You upload, I watch at once 😁 Concerning the topic at hand, I am not joking when I say you've got enough tech for at least 15 high quality videos. Your set up is so immaculate too. I would personally not mind smaller videos interspersed with the high quality, big production type ones as I understand the bigger videos take time. You could even do "a day in the life" type videos if you are happy to share that kinda info. The most important thing is that you don't disappear for long stretches of time. I. Know this is easier said than done with work and life. Game reviews with B roll showing gameplay would also mean you have a steady flow of content. Your channel has the potential to really grow as you have all the ingredients for success. The followership will come naturally over time. Full house tour at some point please!
Haha thanks Ivan. Let me know your thoughts
@@ILT_AUI have now updated my comment 👌
Thanks again for a great response. I appreciate your kind words also. I’m not sure where I could make 15 videos from what I have but please share some ideas. I definitely want to do some high quality videos but I feel I myself, personally need more viewers to make it feel like that much time being injected is worth while. I don’t want to disappear for long periods anymore unless I’m closing shop. Let’s see how things go with what I’m doing now, keep checking in and just be honest with what you see. Thanks Mr.Ivan
@@ILT_AU Not a worry at all. Video ideas. I would like a G4 review after x number of months of owning it and how it compares to what it replaced. A small video on what games you are playing on different platforms would be nice.
Are you a gamer also?
Just as a contribution, you seem to be confusing dolby atmos and lossless formats such as dolby true hd or dtsX . Apple tv doesn't support passthrough for multichannel lossless formats ( not sure about music srereo formats such as flac ) regardless of atmos metadata being present. The reason you get Atmos through streaming services is because the audio format that's being used is dolby digital plus , also known as eac3 , with atmos metadata included in it. It is compressed audio. Atmos is not a format in itself. Now , in your case with such a nice audio/video setup , I would use a proper bluray player or an nvidia shield tvpro if you really want to rip your blurays . And for people using a sound bar with no rears and virtualized height channels, I would use infuse to manage my plex library on apple tv. Instead of transcoding audio on the server end, the app decodes dolby true hd and dtsX tracks and passes them through as full uncompressed pcm channels. You lose atmos metadata in the process, but with a soundbar such as Samsung's lower to mid tear that uses virtual audio processing to simulate atmos effects anyway, the benefits of uncompressed pcm audio will be great !
Thanks for the comment. Great information.
I opted to plug my apple tv directly to the soundbar and using my tv just for video. The sound quality this way is so much better with a wider sound stage and deeper bass.
Doesn’t change a thing. My atv is directly connected to my 8K receiver. It doesn’t pass through atmos
Apple TV only supports the lossy Dolby Digital Plus which can include Atmos. It does not support lossless Dolby True HD and its implementation of Atmos. In addition, it will convert a DD+ 5.1 stream to PCM and pass on but a DD+ Atmos stream will be passed through.
Hopefully they allow this tvOS 18. I’m hearing whispers they enabled it on the forthcoming sequoia macOS update. Fingers crossed 🤞
There is talk of a "Passthrough" feature coming in OS18 updates but we don't know the full details on what this actually means from Apple's perspective plus it is only REALLY mentioned in the iOS update rather than tvOS. Beyond that, the Apple TV's Dobly Atmos capabilities are all from Dolby Digital Plus signals (DD+). When you play any Dolby TrueHD audio through the ATV 4K it will convert it to PCM audio and you lose the 3D audio metadata that Atmos carries. That's why there are purists out there who bemoan the continued decline of physical media since digital platforms that stream "Dolby Atmos" use DD+ 5.1 mainly while discs have Dolby TrueHD 7.1 levels of data. Can you ACTUALLY hear a difference, sometimes though it isn't often times earth shattering in its difference. Mainly it comes down to the idea that, if I spent all this movie on a setup, and a movie, to get the best quality, why am I now stuck using a lesser format?
Also, Streaming services are known to cheat. Often the "Atmos" audio is just DTS-HD but reencoded. Sometimes it literally just DD (5.1) but in the Atmos codec. The Apple TV is for low to mid consumers, not enthusiasts.
Yeah I agree. I do believe it’s the best most versatile box out there. If they enabled pass through. It’s an all in one IMO :)
trash plex, and get serious with a HTPC running Kodi
Come on man, play nice :)

@@ILT_AU No worries mate. I absolutely love your content and I know sometimes, life and work. gets in the way 🙂 Looking forward to the G4 review.
Thanks man. I was thinking about the G4 but there are so many reviews on it now. I feel like it would be a waste. My issue is that I often spend so much time on my videos and they barely get looked it. I just got to suck it up I think. Thanks again hey, it’s stuff like your comments that keep me coming back.
@@ILT_AU I would still watch yours for a more consumer (not sponsored) perspective.
@ivantruthkovic I appreciate that. I’ve had a few people reach out to me to do sponsored stuff. I won’t do it unless I can be honest. I reviewed two Hisense TVs, one was a good one was bad. Honest. Now Hisense won’t talk to me because they didn’t like my honest review. lol. I can see how easy it is to just do what you’re told, otherwise no goodies for you. Makes me think a lot of YTers aren’t being truthful.
Wait, what happened to your dream TV? Where did you install that wallpaper TV?

I play on a 115" sony projector, so good, but no 120hz, bee waiting to upgrade to a 120hz projector, but i think ill wait till 110" tvs become more affordable. 5 more years they will be well priced
Sounds cool. Projector can never match a solid HDR presentation, TV is always better for gaming.
@@ILT_AU HDR doesn't really mean much in gaming too much. Having smooth motion and and clarity is what's needed. I have tried gaming on some TVs and it's unplayable with blurriness and all that. Sony projectors on game mode, especially the 120hz ones it better than heaps of TVs, minus ultra blacks and of course brights, but is still amazing
@DarrenBoxhall I strongly disagree and I’ll doubt you will find many people that would agree with you that gaming is better on a projector. I have the new 83” G4 OLED and I can tell you now a projector would look silly next to it. But you do you my friend.
@@ILT_AU and I don't know anyone who would go from a high-end projector to a tiny ass 80" tv. I can assure you no one would drop down to a tv after playing on a projector, unless it was a 110" tv.

I have a U63 55inch and it has the most bizzare looking image quality I have ever seen, at less than 2 meters distance the pixels seem to go into a checkerboard grid pattern which is very noticable on any surface being displayed such as a persons face.
