      @ILT_AU  Před 3 lety +3

      I think Hisense will definitely be lifting their game this year.
      They are promoting a lot of next-gen features with HDMI 2.1. Motion has got to be at the top of the list.
      Your never going to be able to compete with OLED when it comes to off angle performance. If the TV is for a room with wide viewing angles, you gotta stick to OLED :)

      @@ILT_AU you can see or compare it with terms of videowall screen...the thinnest the bezel is the most expensive and the best one....The Samsung 95TS is close to that videowall criteria...if Hisense already have it....then it's great

    I'm really interested to see the media event tomorrow. I'm coming from an old insignia edge lit so it should be a hell of an upgrade. If it has good motion and the blooming isn't too bad I might pull the trigger. I like the OLEDs as well but I don't like having burn in on my mind and i know just how punchy the bright colors can look with the high peak brightness

    • @ILT_AU
      @ILT_AU  Před 3 lety +3

      Yeah personally I think Hisense is best bang for buck.
      Mini-LED is the next best thing to OLED.
      I’m a peak brightness man, so I went with the QN900A Neo-QLED this year.
      Whatever you get, your going to be blown away!

      @@ILT_AU there aren't too many TV's that catch my eye fully when I go to Best Buy (I'm in the US) but man the A90J (too expensive for me), the H8G, and the Q900TS(again no way) just blow my mind for how far TV's have come. Obviously every TV has its cons but it is seriously amazing.

    • @ILT_AU
      @ILT_AU  Před 3 lety +1

      Why don’t you consider buying a last min H9G on a heavy discount.
      No shame buying a flagship TV from the previous year. Bang for buck. The H9G was one of the best of 2021. I picked up the equivalent on the H9G in my country this week in 85”. Got it for less than half price of its original retail value. It’s the HDR king.

      Now your talkin’ my language. Depending on budget. I feel that the Hisense in the only one that does it all. The Samsung’s don’t have DV. The OLEDs don’t get bright enough.
      Hisense will give you everything this year. It’s the only TV in my option that does everything a gamer wants. VRR, ALLM, DV, HDR10+, great peak brightness with Mini-LED.

    • @ILT_AU
      @ILT_AU  Před 3 lety +2

      We had the dual cell last year 2020 and it was a flop. I’m so surprised to see if it will get traction this year. Dual cell uses a lot more power to push lights through two layers. So it’s generating a lot of heat and it’s still only hitting 1000 nits. When the models from last year hit 1000.
      It will still be an impressive TV but a little underwhelming in my humble opinion. But let’s get them in hand and see for ourselves.

    • @jasonc5761
      @jasonc5761 Před 3 lety +2

      No it's not. U9G is miniled. U9DG is dual cell. It depends on which country you are in and what Hisense is releasing in that country.

      @@ILT_AU , we don't know that yet. The Miniled U9G could well be the better version compared to the Dual Cell U9DG. As you even said, Dual cell was a flop. Let's wait for the reviews of the U9G miniled before declaring it worse than Dual cell.
      The U80G 8K model has already been out for us (see Hisense Australia), so we might be getting the same models as USA with the exception of the U9DG. So fingers crossed, we get the same or better this year than the rest of the world.
