5:40 - By far the best tires you can put on that car are either all season Continental Contact, or Continental Winter tires. Continental Winter Tires will give you the best grip. 6:14 - When it comes to changing the oil in your car, always, Always, ALWAYS GO BY THE MILES NOT THE DATE! If you go by the date you are wasting your money because the oil is still good.

Opinions, please. Left side key was due to faster starts at endurance races. I.e. turn key simultaneously as shifting into gear. Second, left side turn key was to reduce the need for wiring in support of Germany’s war effort.

I had the S and had it for a few years then upgraded to the GTS. I just like the exterior look better and the cabin is so much nicer. The GTS came std with a leather dash, leather door panels etc and when you drive the car it feels way more special. The GTS also comes with all the must have options such as sport chrono, sport exhaust and pasm. I mostly drive for fun, i dont race and with the suspension on normal, it is. very comfortable and as soon as you hit the pasm button the car stiffens up. Mine is the manual and it is by far the nicest car i have ever had.

Picked up a base for the wifey and was curious versus the s and versus the GTS. Base is plenty for her, and it gives me what I need where I need to go but need a little bit more which sways me towards the S. Aesthetic upgrades to the GTS, your review hit the nail on the head about performance and choices... Porsche has really done a great job of small changes to provide offerings towards a number of preferences 👍

Having owned both, the gts is the more engaging car. The s is sporty and for touring. The gts is more rough and faster. Just depends on preference.

Great video, but I think one thing that hasn't been mentioned is that Cayman S only has an optional limited slip diff with PTV, while in GTS is comes as standard. To some it's the deal breaker between these two cars.

The left hand key start is only on left hand drive models. I live in New Zealand with right hand drive. My Boxster 718, like all right hand Porsches have right hand key start.

I chuckle when I heard german reliability 😂 Porsche reliability would be more appropriate :)

very well made review. what about ground clearance? you had any trouble over the speed bumps or when on bad road?
