Friendships are literally relationships with out romance. They are supposed to be your confidant as much as your soul mate is. I’ve watched the meaning and substance of friendships evolve into something so superficial in our current culture so it’s so difficult for me to connect with new people. I cut ties with my closest friend group back in 2020, like we did highschool together and college together so it literally felt like breaking up with a long time boyfriend. Shit hurt real bad and 4 years later I’m still trying to heal. Long story short, friendship breakups can be just as traumatic as a romantic one.

This was so good! I’m so excited that I found this podcast. Pastor Shamika talking about growing up in a strict household, her parents being protective, always feeling left out when it came to friends, clicking more with guys friends only for them to die on you…..girl! Stop telling MY business! 😂😂😂 it’s really such a good feeling to realize that we are not so alone in our life experiences. There is some one some where who has experienced similar things almost identically….i might need to go to that living waters retreat 😅

Word surf'en yes you are fully woman's and wield yourselves just fine. However a confident woman is the most attractive for a man. Makes us feel safe to show our own without being chased as special. Special good and special bad are both slaves to such things as cheap pride with gets swapped out for our dignity. Yes you are, but keeping your best reserved only comes across as thoughtful and compassionate. When you'll find running with wolves better than running from them, badgered by ravonouse hot heads remember, they can out run the innocent to expose us for our true selves as kind and compassionate.
