I personally feel like you take away rpg elements from fallout by making you and enemies not gain health as you level up. Same with taking away individual weapon damage as rpg mechanics arent meant to be realistic.

For me the there are two problems with NAC X. First (and the main) - by default there is a Rad Storm Alert enabled. For almost three years we have been hearing air raid alarms every day in my country, and this sound in the game scared me very much (I didn’t know that it was even present in this mod). Second problem is that Volumetric Lighting tanks my fps (very) badly. I do not know what did mod's author do with it, because with other weather mods it doesn't drop my fps too much. Also it is too bright (sometimes screen almost white and I barely can see anything). Also I saw some posts on reddit that people have different visual bugs with it.

Be Aware: The Service Rifle has a very janky graphit style and does not fit into the base game, nor any modern weapon back. And the ultimate M4 is gratis, but it doesnt Show up in wheel menu (often)

On the Hardcore Health Overhaul Nexus page the mod author says using HHO and Scourge together is redundant, but watching this video I was under the impression you recommend using them both. Did I misunderstand?

For the spas 12 there is a mod called combined arms which adds other weapons but as for the spas 12, it has an option for pump action or semi auto The Combined arms spas is a lot better than the standalone one

It was the first kind of mods i made myself even before the creation kit came out. In my opinion the mods you showed are a must have. All this stupid bulletsponge shit makes no sense. But unfortunetaly my own mod doesnt work anymore and I have no time to fix it. What i also changed was all kinds of explosives and heavy weapons. I wanted to have a system which was inspirated by the older warhammer40k rules, where tanks had a specific toughness and you can only damage them, if your weapon has a minimum strength. I wasnt able to create this system 1 to 1 without the creation kid or more deep modding. Instead I made tanky monsters very healthy with high armor and gave explosive weapons also a ton of more damage. So you would really need a rocket launcher at least, if you want to kill the big bots or huge monsters in this game. Also I made most human people more resistent to laser weapons and bots less resistent. Because Plasma does both dmg types, I left it as it is, but i made the projectiles a bit faster. I also added the starwars laser projectiles mods for the standard laser weapons, because it looks amazing and is fun. The synth laser weapons still remained as the regular blue beams. But I also gave them higher fire rates and bigger magazines but less dmg. This was fun but redoing all this stuff will take a while. Maybe with the creation kit I will do it again.

Are there any other huge survival difficulty overhauls like this that fit into the base setting a little better? I don't think I want everything snowy but I like how brutal the radiation system and difficulty sound.

i have the feeling that the missing collision in redrocket has to do with how they were able to reduce performance issues, meaning to gain that fps back, they had to make some objects not really exist, they exist in picture only but not as an object in the world. i thought about something like this a long time ago back when i first played this game when i realized how this games engine works when you introduce to many objects into any given location, now i wouldn't mind them doing this tweak to trash decals on the roads we walk on because those piles are damn near everywhere in the game and they take up the vast majority of the landmass, i wish they just got every object in the game and turned them into single objects, so like the whole downtown Boston area, everything from static objects such as piles of trash to buildings to the decals could all just be one massive object instead of thousands of individual objects for the entire Boston cell location.

With DSR just set your desktop res as the game before you launch it, then you don't need exclusive full-screen mode.

after modding skyrim for a long while and then coming back to modding fallout 4, you can def see why the modding community is just far superior for skyrim. Not only did it get a head start with being released first, but f4 failed to deliver on the impossible standard it got while also being a mediocre fallout/bethesda game, and the whole pre combine stuff really just limits fallout 4 modding potential, like you cant even replace every freaking barrel without breaking the entire game. i was hoping bethesda was somehow going to fix this for the next gen update but nope, just more content from CC

random crashing (mostly with zone shifting) is a serious annoyance ... effectively ruins any attempt at survival

As a console player I can say that vats is busted. You can vats through walls but no matter the % to hit it won't.

I still can’t even play fallout 4 on Xbox series X completely broke it even after deleting everything,uninstalling and reinstalling and every time I try to start the game it crashes so thanks Bethesda

Hey guys, sorry for the dumb question but what exactly is NVR? Is it a mod I install in MO2? Or is it a completely different game on its own? I just installed 30+ mods on my regular NV and I dont wanna start all over if i have to re-download the entire game. I realize in the video he said just install it to MO2 but I just wanna make sure. Is it compatible with other mods? What makes this mod so different?
