Alex Rocco: Hi, I’m Alex Rocco and I am working on Silver Skies directed by Rosemary Rodriguez. I’m playing Frank Rubin. He’s a nice guy. You know, I usually kill people.

Alex Rocco: Ethel, played by Valerie Perrine, is my new love interest. She’s a hottie.
Movie Clip: Flowers keep everything so pretty. (Laughter) Uh-huh. It’s important to keep Silver Skies looking pretty. You’re all the pretty we need around here, Ethel.
Alex Rocco: So I would’ve done this job for nothing. Rosemary, she’s a doll. I love her.
On set: Let me see what Rosemary says. Can we keep the top piece of that speech? Yes. Get out! I love this business. You get tricked. (Laughter)
Alex Rocco: Oh! It’s one of the best shoots of my life. The script is wonderful. Very well written.
Movie Clip: You used to work at a movie study. Yeah. It must’ve been cool, right? I was the head guard at Paramount Studio, on the front gate. I used to wave ’em in and wave ’em out. You know. And I made sure they had the right to drive onto the lot. (Laugter) People like Paul Newman, Julie Andrews, Jack Nicholson, knew my name. Whoa, wow. That’s the guy from The Lakers games right? Uh, yeah. But you know, those were other days. Movie stars or no movie stars, if you lose someone you love, you know, like my wife, God rest her soul, you want to feel needed. And I think Ethel needs me.
Alex Rocco: Yeah. I’m having fun. (Gets a kiss.) I really am.
