    I love idle music besides being it also very meaningful. I use to mostly only listen without understanding the meaning of the song but for idle I felt a lot of their are very interesting and meaningful. Later example like wife the song it so catchy and rap it good but once you understand it very interesting and knowing about Korean culture I think the make it even more meaningful.

    I think they don't have a reoccurring concept on purpose because the different types of people, like someone whose similar to hwaa and someone similar to fate can both be confident and powerful (I hope this makes sense)

    But we have crazily good and talented groups this generation. Aespa, stayc, everglow, itzy, nmixx. You have a self-producesed group like idle. In fifth generation there are KOL and Baemon. The only ones messing around are Hybe groups. Even if lesserafim was such a good group, with amazing stage presence and good songs, no recent Hybe girlgroup knows how to sing. And if they can't sing for shit, honestly, all their other talents end up being a bit irrelevant. You can have bad dancing with good vocals, but not the other way around.

    Honestly, that's what i think when i see people complaining of Momo not having many lines. Other than sometimes rapping, do you really think Momo wishes to sing? It is evident that she'd much rather just dance and now have to worry about doing something that doesn't particularly interest her and that people have made fun of her in the past.

    This a big reason why them and Mamamoo and some of my favourite groups. I was scared of getting into kpop for years because I knew how toxic the culture was for everyone involved. A big reason why I gravitated to I-dle immediately was because they were literally the only group I could find that acknowledged and spoke up against all the toxicity that put me off.

    Isn't all Kpop performative to some extent? Remember Kpop is a business first and foremost.

      100%! Very few groups escape the scope of performative (not a bad thing, like you said kpop is a business).

    As an international fan, I've never judged any song's lyrics as long as they don't go against my religion or culture. I'm a guy, and my sexuality is completely straight, but I still love all of (G)I-DLE's songs immensely, and my favorite song is "Nxde." I don't understand the kind of people who judge a song based on its lyrics instead of focusing on the vibe and melody. I clearly remember when "Wife" came out, Soyeon was called a bad songwriter, even though I really, really liked "Wife." When "Queencard" was released, Soyeon was labeled as cringy, even though there was nothing cringy about it. In my opinion, those who spread hate are just toxic K-pop stans who can't stand seeing another group surpass their own. Most of these people are usually around 10 to 15 years old. For me, (G)I-DLE has never been and never will be bad.

    tbh for me it's incredible that now kpop companies don't let someone 20 years old audition because they consider them "old" I find it horrible how in recent years companies debut more and more children (like there are groups where the maknae is 14 years old) exposing them to too much pressure for a minor, labor overexploitation etc.

    Simply the haters don't know and can't differentiate between what is "Real artist" and company robot-spoon fed-dolls. Especially SM & Hybe stans, pfft just go and take care your zionist group

    As far as I know Soyeon wrote her rap for Change and also wrote all lyrics for Dark. Edit: Check the tracklist for I Love

    • @theewoo
      @theewoo Pƙed 6 hodinami

      Minnie wrote it with Soyeon and Dark was first created by Yuqi. The tracklist credits Soyeon and Minnie for change and Soyeon did write the lyrics for dark but the concept was already finished by Yuqi.

    • @TheDanken07
      @TheDanken07 Pƙed 5 hodinami

      @@theewoo The lyrics you used were written by Soyeon. Her rap verse in Change is written in Korean for a reason. You said that Minnie gave her that verse, which isn't true. Also, the mention of drugs was probably Soyeon's idea. Yuqi's demo isn't that similar to the final product.

    • @theewoo
      @theewoo Pƙed 5 hodinami

      @@TheDanken07 I am assuming Minnie helped her with the creation due to the nature of the song and credits on the tracklist, but yeah it could be all Soyeon, who knows. Also, as they haven't told us, we can't know whose idea it was. Yuqi's demo is the sane concept as the finished song, the only change is in the lyrics.

    • @TheDanken07
      @TheDanken07 Pƙed 4 hodinami

      @@theewoo I mean, Soyeon is the executive producer. The overall concept was her idea. To play the album from back to front. Also, the sound of dark isn't the concept. The lyrics are. I know it sounds dark, but that's not what makes the song itself dark. Honestly, I think Sculpture and Reset are darker in that sense. Your arguments just don't make much sense

    • @jmq2808
      @jmq2808 Pƙed 5 minutami

      @@TheDanken07Just to add Soyeon also in charge of choosing song order and what song she will add in the album. Most of the time Soyeon giving producer line what song they should make that fit the concept, sometimes she also telling them to write whatever song they like. However in I Love Soyeon mentioned the order of the song is extremely important so Soyeon told her members to make song that suited to I love concept. She even told us to listen to it from 6 to 1. 2 and I sway are the only bside from the members she didn't contribute.
