Incredibly ... Horrible Firstly : DO NOT TOUCH THE ANIMALS !!!!!!! Secondly, most of these dive site are at best ok, at worst, just bad, maybe 3 of them should be in the top ten. This is my top ten (we can discuss the order ...) 1) Galapagos Islands (equator) => Wall of hammerhead, whale sharks, mola mola, sea lions, marine iguanas, dolphins, mantas and ... almost everything except beautiful coral ... 2) Cocos Island (Costa Rica) or Malpelo (Colombia)=> Really close to the Galapagos with more sharks and less of everything else (no mola mola ...) 3) Tuamotu Archipelago (french Polynesia) => Hundreds of grey reef sharks every day in a single site, frequently really large schools of dozens of eagle rays, great hammerhead,, tiger sharks, dolphins, silvertip 4) Raja Ampat (Indonesia) => Incredible coral reef with every possible colors, fishes of all size and shapes, one of the rare place in the world where you can spot both reef and oceanic Mantas 5) Richelieu Rock (Thailand) => Multicolor site with everything from nudibranch to whale sharks, incredibly large schools of fishes of all size especially large schools of Barracudas 6) Socorro Island (Mexico) => Giant oceanic Mantas, dozens of dolphins and sharks everywhere, whitetip, galapagos sharks, even hammerhead, depending on the season, whale sharks and humback whales ar also frequently spotted. 7) SS Yongala (Australia) => Frequently considered as the best wreck in the world, colonised by a lot of life, coral, nudibranch, schools of fishes every where even sea snakes and sharks 8) USS Liberty (Bali) => As the Yongala, a fully covered wreck with corals, schools of fishes of all kind, incredible 9) Tubbataha reefs (Phillipines) => Unesco World heritage with whale sharks, mantas, sharks in general and incredible coral 10) Great Barrier reef (Australia) => Greatest coral reef in the world with beatiful corals, incredible encounters with big potato bass, Mink whales, Mantas, sharks in general ... A few precision : - the order here is my order, I am a shark and big animals fan, but as you can imagine, it is impossible to compare a school of hammerhead to a beautiful coral reef, so it is possible to put Raja Ampat first if you like beatiful coral reefs ... - the question Galapagos vs Cocos Malpelo vs Socorro is hard, I put the Galapagos first because of diversity but it can be discussed - I don't know why everybody is excited about Sipadan, yes there is schooling Barracudas, in Rangiroa (french polynesia), Richelieu Rock and Raja Ampat too ... and the coral is good but far away from Raja Ampat ... and there are schooling jacks in Galapagos, Cocos and Malpelo - The great Barrier reef is the last one because yes you have approximatively everything but not in the same place, there is no site with everything like Darwin's Arch (Galapagos), Richelieu Rock or Rangiroa - I could have put the Thistelgorm too but it is less covered by coral ... so I decided to take the diversity of life as the main criteria To summarize, this video is far away from the best dive sites in the world

For me you missed some incredible ones and put other that are good but a few order of magnitude below - The maldives are good but every dive site has "only" one thing : addu/Manta Point has "just" mantas, Fuvahmulah has "just" tiger sharks, there are no site where you can spot a lot of different things at a single moment - In Florida you have sharks, manatees and some wrecks and that's it ... there is no incredible site - Belize is incredible from above (the blue hole is beautiful) but from below you have a few sharks beautiful reefs and some fishes, it is good but not incredible - In Hawaii you have a few sharks and mantas, that's it, no incredible dive site with everything... - Bahamas is sharks sharks and sharks, too specific to be in a top 10, no incredible dive site ... - In Mexico, you showed images of sea lions and stripped marlins while talking about socorro, however, they are respectively in Los islotes and Magdalena bay, not in Socorro ... Socorro is incredible, but for Mantas, sharks and dolphins - In Galapagos, you forgot to talk about the whale sharks of Darwin island And you missed some incredible dive sites - Fakarava and Rangiroa (french polynesia) => schools of hundreds of grey reef sharks every day with great hammerhead, schooling eagle rays and dolphins frequently spotted - Richelieu Rock (Thailand) => An incredibly rich place with soft corals of all possible colors, big schools of fishes of all shapes and sizes (untill big schools of barracudas). Also one of the best place in the world to dive with whale sharks. - Cocos Island (costa rica) => close to Galapagos islands with more sharks (especially hammerhead) and less of everything else.
